Given the company’s success, everyone always expects big things from Ubisoft. With some amazing franchises under their belt such as the Assassin’s Creed series, along with some much more recent big name acquisitions such as South Park: The Stick of Truth, all eyes were glued to Ubisoft’s E3 conference to see what the company had in store for itself in terms of next-generation gaming.
Presented by actress Aisha Tyler, this year Ubisoft rattled off a varied and diverse range of games spanning multiple genres, ensuring every fan of theirs would be pleased. The games they announced are as follows:
Rocksmith, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Rayman Legends, The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot, South Park: The Stick of Truth, The Crew, Watch_Dogs, Just Dance 2014, Rabbids Invasion, Trials Fusion, Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag, and Tom Clancy’s The Division.
Whilst everyone was pleased to see the games they’ve been waiting for, such as South Park, Watch_Dogs, and the new Assassin’s Creed, some of the new titles that made an appearance during their conference were the ones that made everyone pay attention. Those in particular that stood out from the crowd in the “new” selection would be The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot and Tom Clancy’s The Division, both games that nobody was expecting, yet both created quite a stir with their unique and innovative design.
