Crysis 3 is the eagerly anticipated, first person shooter sandbox game from the award-winning developer Crytek and EA, and is the sequel to the critically acclaimed Crysis 2, which was released in 2011. The game is set in 2047, and New York has been encased inside a giant Nanodome created by the corrupt C.E.L.L. Corporation, leaving the city to transform itself into a deadly urban rainforest.
The game follows our protagonist Prophet, a soldier who has returned to New York on a quest for revenge against the C.E.L.L. Corporation for imprisoning New York City inside the Nanodome, under the pretence of protecting its citizens and ridding the city of the last of the alien Ceph forces. However, the Corporation’s ulterior motives of seeking power and world domination have become clear, and it is up to Prophet now to restore humanity to the now rotten apple.
The New York City Liberty Dome is a lethal environment where nature has taken control, leaving the city swallowed by overgrown trees, swamplands, and raging river rapids, with seven severely treacherous environments now known as the Seven Wonders. Equipped with your unique, enhanced Nanosuit and lethal composite bow to aid your quest to save mankind, you can become the ultimate hunter in an open world where danger and death are always lurking.
The Hunter Edition of this first person shooter is available to pre-order from zavvi.com now, featuring early access bonus content: day one access to the new signature Predator bow and its attachment. This Edition also grants you the “Hunter” Nanosuit module for Crysis 3 multiplayer, as well as bonus experience boost to Level 5, and the ability to unlock custom load-outs early.
