If you currently own a Nintendo 3DS, then make sure you that you log in to Nintendo’s e-shop at some point before Friday in order to take advantage of Nintendo’s generous Ambassador program. In case you didn’t know, the Ambassador program is a reward scheme that is available to everyone who picked up a Nintendo 3DS before the console’s price drop, which goes into effect this coming Friday morning.

From September 1st, as a member of the program you will be entitled to download ten free NES games for your Nintendo 3DS, including Donkey Kong Jnr, Balloon Fight, The Legend of Zelda, Ice Climber and Super Mario Brothers.

In addition to those ten, you will also be able to download ten free GBA games before the end of the year too. Those include Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Metroid Fusion, Mario vs. Donkey Kong, Kirby & The Amazing Mirror, Super Mario Advance 3 and Super Mario Advance 4.

In related 3DS news, we recently played through a few levels of one of the console’s most eagerly awaited titles; Super Mario 3D Land. To see what we thought, click here.
