5 Reasons To Be Excited About Marvel’s Black Panther

1. The Cast

Taking a look at the cast for Black Panther and it’s hard not to get a little bit excited. From fan favourite, Andy Serkis, to the star of 2015’s Creed, Michael B. Jordan, the cast list is full of some incredible acting talent. With Chadwick Boseman as the Black Panther himself, paired with the wonderful Lupita Nyong’o (known more recently as Maz from the recent Star Wars Trilogy) as a supporting actress, the cast list really is quite impressive. We could carry on listing the huge names appearing in this film but then we’d just be boring you. Either way, this is a fantastic cast list with some incredible acting talent!

2. The Soundtrack

The soundtrack for the Black Panther film is one for the ages. Produced entirely by award winning American rapper, Kendrick Lemar, and accredited producer, Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith, this is a turning point for the usual way Marvel builds it’s soundtracks in line with the film. We won’t go into too much detail because you can read all about it here!

3. The Action Sequences

From initial sightings in trailers and TV spots, we can expect a bountiful helping of ass-kicking action from the Wakanda warrior. Take a look at the trailer below (if you’ve not already seen it) and you’ll see what we mean when we say to expect some high-octane action from Marvel’s latest offering.

4. The Hype

As with all big cinema releases, there has been a lot of hype surrounding the Black Panther’s release. With early reviews citing it as a “a superhero movie with serious muscle and style” we’re expecting big things. Couple this with the hype surrounding the casting, the soundtrack and the action sequences, this gives us serious FOMO about not being the first to watch it in cinemas. Our intial thoughts; expect everything you love about classic Marvel films but with a completely unique spin like you’ve never seen before!

5. The Cameos

As with all Marvel films one of the best things to look out for is those onscreen cameos. Which memembers of the MCU will we see in this film? Who knows at this stage…your guess is as good as ours!
