When you pre-order your copy of EA’s much anticipated new MMORPG The Secret World at zavvi.com, you not only receive a piece of exclusive free DLC – A loyal hound to support you in combat – along with some other in-game trinkets (more info here) but also early access to the game, and access to some imminent beta events. Not long after you pre-order, you’ll receive a code. Here’s what to do with it….
1. Go to http://register.thesecretworld.com
2. Select “click here to register with a key” to create a new account, or log in to your existing Funcom account
3. Enter and confirm your code above when prompted
4. Complete registration if creating a new account
5. You will be notified by email of your beta and early access times at a later date

So did anybody got a pre-order code from Zavvi? I got the retail box in the mail today and the code in there is just a normal code which cannot be used to get early access or in-game items according to the Funcom customer support I talked to.
