Announced earlier today, the new ‘metallic red’ Nintendo 3DS console is now available for pre-order on zavvi.com. The unit is currently due for release at the end of this month. This wasn’t the only announcement that Nintendo made today; they also gave a concrete release date for the downloadable title The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords (free to all 3DS and DSi owners for a limited time) as well as telling us when we can expect to get our hands on Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7. Wow, what a beautiful colour. I liked the blue from before, but this dark red one brings the goth out in me. Cool, can’t wait to get my hands on this, especially since I hadn’t bought a 3DS yet, as I was waiting for a decent colour.
