The work carried out by Trekstock is of enormous importance and every penny we can raise will make a difference to the lives of young people affected by cancer.” Trekstock, the British charity supporting teenagers with cancer by raising money through music and fashion, is delighted to be holding an official launch party on 17th March 2010 to celebrate becoming a registered charity.
The evening will officially begin in London’s No 11 Downing Street with some very special guests and live performances from Goldheart Assembly and Rox and will then move onto an exclusive location in Soho, where guests will be invited into both an indoor music festival and fashion party from some very famous names! The launch involves some very
special guests and as well as celebrating Trekstock’s official charity status, will include:
- an announcement of a high profile patron from the music world;
- celebration of the launch of own-fashion brand ‘Trekstock Loves’, which goes
on sale in Browns Focus in early March, and;
- unveiling of an exciting new partnership with a major UK charity.

From Trekstock’s small beginnings as an inspirational idea by founder Sophie Epstone in 2006, the official launch will cement its credibility as a charity which has successfully managed – through affiliations with music and fashion – to provide a platform to reach and educate young people and raise money for a very worthwhile cause. Trekstock is a Registered Charity, Number 1132421

Trekstock’s new and to be announced charity partner has recognised the Trekstock charity’s potential to reach young people, to educate them and make them aware of issues that unfortunately can be so vital in their lives, yet in a cool way that they can relate to.
The sad news is that every two minutes in the UK, someone is told that they have cancer. The good news is survival rates are improving and early detection through research is achieving incredible results.
