Microsoft has confirmed today that the Official Launch Date for their next-generation Xbox One console is November 22nd! This initial launch applies to the markets of Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, UK, and the USA. You can read the official launch post, which also includes an informative video, by clicking here.
And the Xbox One has already been setting records! Microsoft have sold out of their U.S. pre-order supply faster than any other time in the company’s history, and is paving the way for this console launch to be the biggest ever for an Xbox.
Given the fantastic attention and demand surrounding the Xbox One, the development team have increased the CPU from 1.6GHZ to 1.75GHZ; roughly a 10 percent increase in CPU performance. And this is on top of the 6% increase Microsoft previously announced for the GPU! This means that the Xbox One will have that much more power, to allow developers to make their games and entertainment really shine.
Of course the games have to be mentioned! Only on the Xbox One will you find such highly anticipated exclusives such as “Halo”, “Dead Rising 3″, “Ryse: Son of Rome”, and “Forza Motorsport 5″. And this is on top of new digital content from other titles including “Call of Duty: Ghosts”, and “Battlefield 4″ coming to Xbox One first, as well as the “FIFA 14″ Ultimate Team experience you won’t find anywhere else!
