A crash landing leaves teenager Kitai Raige (Jaden Smith) and his legendary father Cypher (Will Smith) stranded on Earth, 1,000 years after cataclysmic events forced humanity's escape. With Cypher critically injured, Kitai must embark on a perilous journey to signal for help, facing uncharted terrain, evolved animal species that now rule the planet, and an unstoppable alien creature that escaped during the crash. The movie: Ok, its not the most amazing from 2013, but after earth IS a thrilling sci-fi adventure with strange accents and amazing CGI. There are some great moments in the movie and taken on what it is; that being a story of guilt and a son seeking the pride from his ( somewhat at times robot like) father this is not a bad film at all. Not every movie is bad just because most people think its bad. The steelbook: what can i say. The steelbook is beautifully designed with some really high gloss images front, back and inside. The only thing i dont like is the spine. There is an image of will and jaden's face but then there is a gap where the " After earth" title should be...but there isnt one. It is just blank... To me it just seems a little strange but make your own mind up.. Overall a decent movie with a really nice steelbook that is very different from the dvd and amarey release.

This is not a 4K Blu Ray. It is standard Blu Ray - it may have been mastered in 4K but only produced in Blu Ray. To sell it as a 4K movie is fraud. Zavvi you should be ashamed. I think a complete refund is in order don't you.
Brought this despite hearing bad reviews. I enjoyed it even though it isn't the best Will Smith movie , worth watching

Not a great movie but still better than I expected. Good vehicle for Jaden Smith. Shipped overseas to Canada. Zavvi packing very good. Steelbook in pristine condition.
Good film Jayden smith does play the part of his child really well but will smith it wasn't one of his best but still A good film.
