From director Zack Snyder (“Man of Steel”) comes “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” starring Oscar winner Ben Affleck (“Argo”) as Batman/Bruce Wayne and Henry Cavill (“Man of Steel,” “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.”) as Superman/Clark Kent in the characters’ first big-screen pairing.
Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

First of all very quick delivery. Fans who know the storyline 'death of Superman' about 20 years ago I would say, will remember that Superman and Doomsday had a fight to the end. Which triggered another storyline 'legacy of superman' with finally Superman coming back to the living where his batteries where drained to the end during the fight with Doomsday. So this movie mixes a few things, rivalry between superman and batman (beginning of the stories) and the death of superman, who had the fight will with doomsday all by himself, no wonder woman, no batman, .... and for me this is a pity cause the story is epic and it's don harm in this movie. But for fans always nice to watch.
