This is my number 1 movie of all time. I put it on and never get bored watching it. Just pips Aliens and Silence of the lambs to top spot. If its not in your collection, hurry up.
Event Horizon is a true claustrophobic space gem. Excellent cast but somewhat inferior script. As movies like this one are quite rare, you can't call yourself a Sci-fi fan and miss it. Buy now, dim the lights and enjoy.
After not really hearing very much about Event Horizon I decided to watch it. After watching it, I immediately went and bought the Blu-ray. It's more of a horror movie set in space than a Sci-Fi movie with bits of horror. I think anybody who claims to be a fan of Sci-Fi or horror films should have definitely seen this. It's such a good concept as well, that I'm surprised I haven't seen more like it. The Blu-ray quality is very good, sharp and dark in the right places. Buy this film!
It's safe to say the people behind the hit game Dead Space took most of their inspiration from this ill-fated, yer underrated sci-fi gem. It's right up there with Sunshine and Prometheus, a film mainly marred by an obvious lack of polish and screenplay problems. Some good extras, too. Well worth any sci-fi fan's time.
Event Horizon is one the the scariest space horror films of all time, and looks stunning on Blu-Ray.
If your a fan of Sci-fi or just enjoy a good thriller and you havent seen this then your in for a treat ! for added bonus the blu-ray transfer is excellent. The movie is the sci-fi equivelent to a haunted house story but set on a space ship out in space. It's easily Paul Anderson's best movie, it's just so tense, you cant relax for a second. The brilliant cast and excellent special effects all blend together to create an excellent experience. The blu-ray is great the colours are deep and sharp, the sound and audio is crystal clear, really top notch. This is a defiante one to purchase, you will be going upstairs with the lights on after watching this cracking flick !
