Moments later in the departure lounge the students see the plane explode before their very eyes. Now the FBI thinks that Alex had something to do with it and follow his every move. His friends also start to become suspicious and slowly fade out of his life. But now, each one of his friends is being stalked and killed by the Grim Reaper, Death, who is intent on collecting the souls of those who cheated it.

True to the series

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

I watched this yesterday and all in all i thought it was quite a good film that was true to the Final Destination series. I would have to say this film has one of the best opening and closing titles I have seen. The acting was ok not amazing and the deaths were quite creative though some of them seem a little on the silly side. Most of the deaths make you giggle slightly as well not sure if that is a good or bad thing. I though this film had A slightly more gothic feel. I would have liked there to be more questions answered considering this was meant to be the last film however these questions are probably answered in the upcoming fifth film. However overall I thought this was quite a good film which fit in with the rest of the series.

Not true 3D!

Just a PSA in case anyone missed it (like I did!) - this isn't a True 3D version, it's an analogous 3D release. The red/blue glasses come included, and are somewhat effective, but a designed for a small head. Rather uncomfortable for me unfortunately. Anyway, apart from that it's a decent version.
