The difference between DVD and Blu-ray is very different, and Indiana Jones: The Complete Adventures is no different. I will admit that some flaws can be seen, but the films are a very good transition to Blu-ray. I still haven't watched the extras yet but I would still say the overall box set is worth every penny.
Indiana Jones is a great boxset , been years since Ive watched these films, Zavvi's delivery speed never disappoints too.
Indiana Jones: The Complete Adventures are great movies in a brilliant package.
Fantastic collection of Indiana Jones!
Indiana Jones: The Complete Adventures are excellent films and great value for money.
The quality of remastered video is the best Indiana films have ever had. Audio is fantastic, considering the vintage soundtrack of the first 3 films. DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 brings out more than original mix by adding modern mixing style, especially noticeable in ambience sounds and sub-woofer use. The extras recycle some old ones and add new ones too. The most interesting is "On Set with Raiders of the Lost Ark" documentary which is comprised only of never before seen vintage on-set footage in chronological order. Overall, definitely a box set worthy of purchasing, especially if you're as big an Indiana Jones fan as I am!
I'm not going to review the films as we have all seen them and love them. The Blu-ray transfer on this Indiana Jones: The Complete Adventures - especially on the much older first 3 films is fantastic. Sharp, crisp, the colours are brilliant. The sound is also excellent, with great surround sound. If I had one critisism, it would be about the packaging. Another bonus is that the Temple of Doom has been reclassified with a 12 certificate and is uncut. It comes in a fairly sturdy box, but wrapped around this box, seemed to be a poorly glued card. I have just found out is one of those pointless things that informs you of what the contents are and isn't actually part of the box, so it can be removed. Also, the cardbox file insert, which contains the discs isn't very sturdy - in fact, after taking it out for the first time, there is now a crease down the spine. Other than that, it is a great buy!
