I bought Ironclad on DVD years ago, watched it once; was blown away; lent it to someone and never saw the movie again, so I was pleased to find this on Blu-ray. This movie is quite simply amazing and under-rated. I got a strong sense of what life was like in that age and really felt for all the characters involved. Yes there is plenty of gore, but not too much to put you off. The plot is simple but the story is great and kept me engrossed for the entirety of the movie. Buy this film and you'll be pleasantly surprised.
Ironclad is an all round superb movie with plenty of action, stunning scenes and good acting.
I think Ironclad is well worth watching. There are some very gory bits but that's probably highly accurate. It is worth the time and money you will invest in it.
Ironclad is a great period action film. The violence is verging on extreme, but that's to be expected. It has good characters, and is well executed.
Very realistic scenes and gave a true sense of life in that period of time. The action scenes were brilliant and the story line was very believable.
Great film if you love machoism, plenty of blood & gore and well acted with a good storyline. Great in Blu-ray.
