Looper - Limited Steelbook Edition is a great movie, definitely one of my top films at the cinema last year. I would highly recommend.

The Looper blu-ray is a great video and audio transfer. I haven't checked the extras out yet, but there does seem to be a few interesting bits. The movie itself is amazing and is how all time travel should be handled in movies.

Looper is an absolute must see...sucks you into story and doesn't let go until the very clever final act of movie. One of 2012 best films,don't hesitate to add this film to your bluray collection.

I truly love Looper. On so many levels. In my opinion it deals with the oftentimes crippling issue of time-travel well and with humor, poking fun at its own way of dealing with it. I love the sci-fi elements of it, don't get me wrong, but the true reason I class it as a 'masterpiece' is its heart. When I saw it in the cinema it surprised me, and was much more than I expected. I was utterly moved on so many levels and felt a deep connection to the characters and plot unfolding, something that I do not feel often in recent cinema. So in short, the film, in my opinion, is an outstanding one. Now onto the blu-ray, I love the steelbook. Both the artwork and the case itself are lovely. And the featurettes add to the set marvelously too. Picture quality and audio are what is expected of blu-ray, and truly enhance the experience. So all in all, run (do not walk) to your nearest store/PC to order this. You won't be disappointed, unless you are. In which case our opinions differ on what makes 'good cinema'.

Looper is not a brilliant film, but it is pretty good. If you like Philip K. Dick-esque films e.g. Blade Runner, Total Recall, Scanner Darkly... then you should like this. The steelbook quality is quite good... with nice artwork front and back (no inside artwork though) picture and sound quality is spot on, it also has some decent special features.

I really enjoyed Looper - Limited Steelbook Edition. It's very smart, very intelligent, with a great script, plot and an excellent cast. If you like mind bending sci-fi films like Inception or Twelve Monkeys, then you need to see this film. The central time travel conceit is a smart one, and is handled with a deft touch, so it never feels overly confusing or uninteresting. If you think this film is going to be a full-on action film, then you will be disappointed. Instead, there is a good balance between story, characterisation and action. There are a few action scenes and these are excellently done, with some good special effects. Joseph Gordon Levitt proves yet again that he is one of the best young actors around, playing a role that is very different from any that he has done before. It is always a pleasure to see Bruce Willis and here he is in serious mode, no quips, no wisecracks, just very serious business. The picture quality of the Blu-ray is exceptional and so is the sound, with some excellent surround effects. The Steelbook edition has a fantastic looking image on the cover and back, but be warned that the inside has no artwork. It's tremendous.

The Looper steelbook came undamaged and it came quickly in the post. The film itself was great and the P Q looked fantastic. This is a must watch film just for the twist ending.

The Steelbook: The Looper steelbook looks great and I especially like the shine on the characters guns. The picture at the back is alright but it is a shame there is a lack of interior artwork. The Film: Looper starts of extremely strong and shows the life of a looper. The premise is certainly original (to my knowledge) and the film is shot in a very cool way. Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Joe was cast perfectly and has really shown how good he can be in the last couple of years. Bruce Willis is also great as Old Joe. The problem is a bit after Old Joe arrives, the second half of the film is just a bit weaker than the first, with the pacing is slower and the story changing. For me, I didn't really like the Rainmaker story arch/plot and would have prefered if the focus stayed on Levitt's Joe trying to find Old Joe and making things right. Still it is an entertaining action film that bursts with origainality that is worth a look Steelbook: 4/5 The Film: 3.5/5
