Last time posted my review in Nov 2014, my opinion hasn't changed on the product. It looks as good as the first day I purchased. I am renewing my plea to ZAVVI, can you please use your powers and bring us the other 2 installments to make this collection complete. Pleeeeeeeeeeeease!

I got this steel book edition, one of the best in my collection to date . Now I have question to ZAVVI when can we expect the arrival of the remaining: "Two Towers" and "Return of the King"? You got us (LOTR fans) very helpful and exited so we are very eager to see the missing installment to be announced in the near future.

This is lovely, but it looks weird having four of these on the shelf (Hobbits and this) come on guys, The Two Towers and Return Of The King in uniform design please, I need them for my steelbook adiction, there's demand there Zavvi, people want this, come ooooooooon.

Please release the Two Towers and Return of the king Extended 5disc Jumbo Steels. We need the set! Thank you :)

Great movie which needs no explanation. Really like this Steelbook of the extended version of the movie. Steelbook really looks great and really shines on my movie shelf. Bonus materials are all great, even though they are on DVD however that is not too important since the main star of the show, the movie, is BR and is really enjoyable to watch on large screen. Only thing that can we can call bad is that only first part of the trilogy is available in this version. Come on Zavvi release other two also since this one will be feeling lonely on the shelf without them.

A bit late on the train here but I finally bought this wonderful edition and I couldn't be more pleased. The packaging is fantastic and the movie looks and sounds as good as one might expect (also fantastic) my code for the Ultraviolet copy had expired but that's my own fault for not buying it sooner and I have never redeemed an ultraviolet anyway since I feel no need for them. So please Zavvi get us the other two movies as soon as possible.

The greatest fantasy stories ever written and I would personally say the best films I never get bored watching the trilogy of Lord Of The Rings or The Hobbit. (Stick Harry where the sun don't shine j.k). The extended editions are excellent and I love the 5 disc steelbook editions but really need the two towers and return of the King to complete the set as do many others. The sooner they are released the better so come on hurry , hurry , hurry and then hurry some more.

Extended steelbook edition of one of my favourite films. Shame I didn´t see this version of other two films. Some scratches comes on the front side of steelbook. I´m glad that there was the first time.

Nice steelbook, might have preferred some artwork on the same line as The Hobbit Extended Editions but it is nice with an embossed ring and border. Gave 4 Stars because only the movie is Blu-Ray, extras are DVD and artwork could have been better but overall very happy with this edition.
