Shaun Of The Dead
Shaun (Simon Pegg) is not quite your average twentysomething. Lacking any real ambition and drifting along in a job that he hates, he drives his long-suffering girlfriend Liz (Kate Ashfield), up the wall. Despite being a very decent chap, Shaun suddenly gets a very rude wake up call when the undead begin roaming the earth (or London's Crouch End, at least) and, with the help of his slacker chum, Ed (Nick Frost), he must save Liz and his dear mum from becoming zombies! Well, that's if he can get out of the local pub...
Hot Fuzz
Messrs Pegg and Frost return with this rollickingly hilarious take on the cop action movie. Top London cop, Constable Nicholas Angel (Pegg), finds himself reassigned to the sleepy West Country village of Sandford. The quaintness is soon to be interrupted though as a series of grisly accidents sweeps the village. Convinced of foul play, Angel and his new partner, Danny Butterman (Frost) swing into action!
Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World
Meet charming and jobless Scott Pilgrim (Michael Cera). A bass guitarist for totally average garage band Sex Bob-omb, the 22-year-old has just met the girl of his dreams... literally. The only catch to winning Ramona Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead)? Her seven evil exes are coming to kill him.

3 awesome films (Fuzz lets the side down a little with its length) for less than £11 is an absolute bargain. The Blu Ray discs are packed with extras (note, the Hot Fuzz extras, which are additional to the DVD release, knock the classification up to an 18, but the film is still a 15). The packaging is functional - just a cardboard box with the three Blu Ray cases in - a bit of effort could have been made there to take a bit less shelf space and make a more attractive set but at that price, I have absolutely nothing to complain about.
All 3 films are excellent but I must put both of Simon Pegg's creations to the top of the heap. Shaun of the Dead is a brilliant re-imagining of classic zombie movies. Hot Fuzz is an over the top hilarious mickey take reminiscent of Agatha Christie and Bergerac all rolled together. Scott Pilgrim is a love story for the computer generation featuring references to loads of computer games.
