A brilliant story that needed to be told. A great film with some incredible cinematography. A lovely steelbook as well looks brilliant.

Unique
I can definitely say that this steelbook is very unique from the others I have come across! There is just a smoothness to the design that can only be satisfied by holding it! Absolutely recommend this steelbook!

The Piainst
A superb film. Not only does it tell a sublime and despairing story but its full of excellent cinematography, well thought-out camera shots and true to life settings which truly capture the mood perfectly for this mournful film. I love this film for all the right reasons. Its quality and eye for detail is impeccably impressive, its a well deserved war drama. For that reason I feel the need to purchase this copy of the 'The Pianist Zavvi Exclusive Limited Edition Steelbook'. Its another reason why we need to not only be thankful for the efforts from Zavvi to bring us such a gracious and generous steelbook to such an important film. SF Upon receiving the copy, I can not stress enough how pleased I was when I first opened the package to the steelbook. It comes cushioned in a coat of fine bubble wrap, enough to safely secure the film. The steelbook is a premium product that should be seen as any other premium product, as It surprised me how little I paid for this. I expected far less; Zavvi really surprised me here, and they will surprise you too. Hurry up though Ive just seen the product reach its last 200 copies. Im so happy with this steelbook. It arrived within 3 days of ordering. Zavvi deserves its recognition and I can't thank them enough for their curtsy and compassionate push for steel books. Ive chosen to buy some more steel-books due to their value. But unfortunately I have no more funds available to buy any more steelbooks. I thank Zavvi again for creating such products and wish them the best of luck for future steel book releases.

The Pianist - *****
Roman Polanski's masterpiece deserved great steelbook - and it got one! The artwork is fantastic! My only problem is that when the case is open, the front side and the back side are very different and doesnt correspond to each other (something like Captain Phillips steelbook). But that is just a tiny mistake on perfect steelbook.

Where are the subtitles?
Great film and a great looking steelbook! However, I was disappointed to find that it doesn't have subtitles. The DVD version does, so why not this version?
