The Prisoner, a reinterpretation of the 1967 British cult classic, follows Michael (Jim Caviezel, Passion Of The Christ), who after resigning from his job finds himself inexplicably trapped in The Village, a town where people have numbers instead of names. Michael (now called "Six") struggles to hold on to his identity as he engages in a battle of wits with The Village leader, Two.

Very good series If you try not to compare with the brilliant original. Treated as a new show It would be classed as very good.
When The Prisoner was initially released for television, I did not watch it as I was a great fan of the original. This is different from the original, but just as captivating. The relationship between 6 and 2 gives excellent tension throughout the series. I just wish it would have gone on.
The Prisoner is not a patch on the original, but it's still a great watch.
