"+" (“Plus”) is the incredible debut full length studio album by the young and extremely talented British singer/song writer Ed Sheeran. Despite his young age, Sheeran has already released several EPs and toured extensively all over the world, as well as become a YouTube sensation.

The album amply displays his soulfully themed vocal talent with an urban twist, with each song guaranteed to get stuck in your head and leave you hungry for more. Throughout the entirety of this album, Sheeran amply displays his highly intelligent wit and wordplay within his lyrics, and more than proves his worth as a word smith. His lyrics cover a wide and diverse variety of topics, ranging from drug addiction, to love, loss, contentment, and everything inbetween. This is combined with Sheeran's impeccable understanding of melody, with each song of his at least originally written and performed on his acoustic guitar.

“+” features all four of his hit singles to date, three of which have been in the Top 10 of the UK Singles Chart. The lead single "The A Team" is a beautifully haunting song that overflows with emotion, which contrasts with the second single "You Need Me, I Don't Need You", a raw and up-tempo track with an infectiously catchy chorus. Alongside these, the album also includes his third and fourth singles “Lego House” and “Drunk”, both highly emotive numbers that rise and swell on waves of emotion and, for the most part, sorrow.
