Description

"A Flash Flood Of Colour" is the heavily anticipated third studio album by the innovative British electronic hardcore band Enter Shikari. This record is the follow up to their second studio album "Common Dreads", which was released in 2009.

The album follows on in their traditional, unqiue sound of storming, stomping electronica melodies, fused together with agressive reverb, distortion and drum beats. This is combined with the slick and energetic guitar riffs and chord progressions, providing an angst-ridden backdrop to blend each song with.

Featured on this record is the lead single "Sssnakepit", an anthemic, distorted beast of a song, leaded with violent vocals and hard-hitting instrumental breakdowns, driven by a powerful guitar riff. Also included on this album is the second single "Gandhi Mate, Gandhi", a politically written, forceful and assertive electronic track, insistent in its message and combined with uptempo melodies.

"A Flash Flood Of Colour" is an incredible album that perfectly encapsulates the unique and distinctive musical force that are Enter Shikari, and completely delivers on its expectations. Superb. (Cat Emerson)
