"Lungs" is the eagerly anticipated debut album by the indie pop band Florence & The Machine.
The album features the incredible smash hit singles "You've Got The Love" and "Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up)", and shows amazing pop singer Florence Welsh's influences, which include early punk and grunge, displaying that edge in her contemporary soulfully indie musical direction.

Brilliant Debut!
Brilliant album by Florence and the Machine, when initially released I wasn't so sure - but the perfectly crafted songs got me in the end - with Dog Days Are Over being my favourite on the album! My only criticism is the cover of You Got The Love, I don't like it as much as the original, but this is probably down to Radio 1 playing it every way too often (especially the version with Dizzee Rascal in it) that has made me really dislike it! Apart from that, brilliant!

Hello ! where were you all my life !
I know im getting old at 37, but id never heard of them until I saw the Tv advert for the album. I know I know its an award winning album and now I know why. I heard her singing You've got the love which was a throw back to my youth in the early 90's so I bought it. I have to admit as much as I love the track just about all the others on the record are better. This was a bit of a slow burner for me, I did enjoy when I first listened to it, but the more I heard it the more I loved it. This will definately contend for the best album of 2009.
