The Clash are an English punk rock band that celebrated global success during the British punk invasion in mid to late 1970's. Their style of music incorporates elements of reggae as well as ska, dub, funk, rap, dance, and rockabilly.

'The Singles' box set offers fans the chance to own every single ever released by the band. From 'White Riot' through to 'This is England', as well as a host of bonus tracks and B-sides, there are over 60 tracks to enjoy here. A 44-page booklet is also thrown in and contains rare pictures and notes by Pete Townshend, Nick Hornby, The Edge, Tony Parsons, Bobby Gillespie, Irvine Welsh, Bernard Sumner, and Ian Brown.

The Singles Box Set [19 CD Single Box Set]

This is a superbly-crafted box set that actually replicates the original vinyl singles in CD form. The discs are black vinyl look-alikes with the original labels in the centre. The outer bags are also true replicas right down to the last detail. The music, if you are a clash fan, speaks for itself. It's an absolutely brlliant product from Sony, and I hope that they repeat this box format with other bands in their catalogue.

Possibly one of the greatest things of beauty I've ever set eyes upon...and that's before you start listening to the sublime slices of classic punk rock from the most influential band of my generation. Buy it and weep tears of joy!
