Created by Emmy and BAFTA award-winning writer Andrew Davies and starring Award-winning actor Jeremy Piven as Mr Selfridge, this brand new drama tells the story of 'Mile a Minute Harry', a man with a mission to make shopping thrilling. Pioneering and reckless, with an almost manic energy, he created a theatre of retail where any topic or trend that was new, exciting, entertaining - or sometimes just eccentric - was showcased.

Mr. Selfridge was a superb series. The concept was excellent and in addition it told a true story (largely). I am a teacher of Business and I used the first episode to illustrate Marketing concepts and the students were so taken by it, that they started watching the rest of the series. As they are sixth formers, they would not have been in the usual demographic for this type of programme. I am looking forward to the next series.
