Created by "Super Mario Nation" genius Gerry Anderson ("Thunderbirds"; "Space: 1999"; "Captain Scarlet"), the series has a cult following amongst adults and a broad popularity amongst children. Taking place in the year 2065, Troy Tempest leads the World Aquanaut Security Patrol (WASP) against the evil aquaphibians, which leads to much undersea mayhem and adventure. The complete series DVD also features the original TV advertisements, original publicity merchandise, character profiles and commentary from Gerry Anderson himself.

Good memories
I purchased these as I always used to watch them years ago and am enjoying them again along with our 7yr daughter. Great quality and really enjoyable!

Stingray- box set
Back to my youth when special effects included remote control submarines in a fish tank with real guppies! The excitement that the phrase-"anything can happen in the next half hour" can cause and the uncertainty of why the marine people wanted to cause such havoc. Who cares - it has Troy Tempest fighting the bad guys and anguishing over which woman to get off with. The boss's daughter or the mute fish woman - oh choices, choices. Love it!

I made a good choice in purchasing Stingray. I am really enjoying viewing an old favorite. I will look on the website to find some more DVD box sets to take an interest in.

Stingray- The Complete Series [Box Set]
This children's sci-fi series from the sixties will enchant today's children just as it did those of us who were kids in the 60's. The initial theme tune signposts the excitement that is to follow in each packed 25 minute episode and the romantic song Marina, soothes them at the end. Each story is well paced and FUN! True to the ethos of Gerry Anderson's series of later years, quality is king.This will appeal to children from 3 years to 93 years.It was shown on BBC TV again just a few years ago and passed the memories test. Yes, if you are old enough to remember it- it is as good as you remember it. ENJOY!
