Alan Partridge is the C-list celebrity from hell: a sacked chat-show host determined to claw his way back to the heady heights of the B-list by any means necessary. Steve Coogan's characterisation of the monstrous Partridge is a masterful composition of misplaced ambition, frustrated sexuality, brutal insensitivity and pathos.

Service was terrific , can't really review the actual DVD as its for a Xmas present, I did find it cheaper elsewhere after I'd bought it but all the other excellent savings on my other items makes up for it...Will continue to use Zavvi for my gifts
Fantastic price for hours of laughter with bumbling DJ from hell. Dialogue is sharp and inventive and delivered perfectly by all cast members. Do yourself a favour- buy and enjoy!
just genius this creation we follow alan from his talk show KMKY (AHA) to his days on radio norfolk so so funny must have for your collecion and at this you'll be bonkers not to have it once more AHA
I had forgotten how funny Alan Partridge was, a great laugh. This DVD box set was great value.
I bought Alan Partridge - The Complete Collection as a present for my best mate and he will love it. I watched it years ago and it had me in stitches, I'm planning on borrowing it from him when he's watched it for the 100th time. If my memory serves me right, it'll be none stop laughter from start to finish.
I received the delivery of Alan Partridge - The Complete Collection in double quick time! This is a great box set, it's well worth the money.
Alan Partridge will surely go down as one of the greatest comedy characters of all time, and this box-set is a must see. The writing is superb, as is the acting. Steve Coogan is wonderful as Partridge of course but the supporting cast is also made up of some of the finest actors working in Britain today.
For my money, Alan Partridge ranks alongside Reggie Perrin and Basil Fawlty as one of the greatest comedy creations to come out of this country. One of the great things about the "I'm Alan Partridge" series in particular is that it stands repeated viewings. Coogan is brilliant, of course, but the supporting cast is equally strong and the writing is faultless. If you don't already own this collection, do yourself a favour and buy it now. I highly recommend it.
Content of the collection is superb. Most of the show is from the '90s so that explains the certain 'fuzziness' you get with all shows from the 90, although quality is still very high. The only criticism I have of it is the DVD menus are not built very well. They are definitely not as easy as they could be for navigation purposes but, again, this is just an issue with many DVDs produced in the days when DVD was new and exciting. It doesn't really impact upon anything, but it is the by far the biggest flaw I could see.
Partridge is well observed and brilliantly created character. Plenty of quotable moments.
Alan Partridge - The Complete Collection delievers everythingfrom Alan's uncomfortable revelations about his sex life in 'Knowing Me, Knowing You' through to his insipid attempts to woo the hotel receptionist (while maintaining his 'stellar' career on Norwich radio), Steve Coogan keeps the viewer laughing through their discomfort in this 3 series set. Well worth watching - well worth owning! (and not at all moribund!)
Dan certainly is the man in this very funny boxset by steve coogans Alan partridge character. Highly recommended for anybodys comedy dvd collection. *****
