Great Film for the Greatest
If you don't already know Muhammad Ali, he is not only one of the greatest boxers, but also a great talker and actor. In this movie he played as himself so this is really no big deal for him. The Greatest is about Ali's journey to become the World Heavyweight champion for the first time when he beat Sonny Liston and for the second time when he beat George Foreman. This movie explains a bit more about the pre-fight events of the Sonny Liston fight, which is quite funny since Ali had gone the distance to try to scare the guy before the fight since Sonny is famous as a boxer who does not fear anyone in the ring. This movie also explains Ali's encounter with his first and second wife, Sonji Roi and Belinda Boyd respectively and how actually he hit on them before dating. This movie is is made in 1977 that means that it was a year before Ali second retirement. I still think he should completely retired in 1978 and not come back to fight Larry Holmes in 1980 especially after this movie is released. Overall, it is a great movie for the Greatest. If you want to see Ali acting as himself just get this movie and enjoy.
