Ronnie (Miley Cyrus) is a young teenager with the average teenage troubles, on top of that she has a bad relationship with her father (Greg Kinnear) as he left the family and divorced Ronnie’s mother, Jonah (Bobby Coleman). Ronnie used to spend her days playing piano but due to her father leaving she quit playing.

the last song
The last song is a good movie, nice story, good cast, especially for the father. I read the book before the film and i've gotta be honest and say the book was far better though.

THE LAST SONG
The last song is based on love & friendship. Ronnie (Miley cyrus) has a bad relationship with her dad after Ronnie's mum and dad have divorce. In the summer holidays Ronnie and her younger brother Jonah (Bobby coleman)goes to see there dad for the holidays. It starts out all wrong but when there holiday with there dad is nearly over thing start to turn out right. Ronnie then realises that last year her dad was in the church playing on the piano when someone put it on fire and when the fire fighters came ronnie's dad was trapped inside the church. He says to ronnie that he's ok but he is not. When he goes into the hospital the story of what happened came out. But one day will and his friend scott tells Ronnie's dad that they started the fire but ronnie heard what they said, Ronnie pushed will away from her and her family. But when there holiday with there dad is over Ronnie wants to stay with him because she has just been mean to him all weekend but one day ronnie's dad died and at his funeral ronnie's dad made a song what he wanted ronnie to play for him at the funeral but ronnie's dad did'nt have time to finsh it so ronnie finshed it for him .
