Very nice game

If you're into rhythm games, good background music and Paris in general, you're going to have a blast playing this game

The snazzy jazzy hidden gem of 2012

Overshadowed by Res Evil Revelations and the incredible Kid Icarus Uprising, Rhythm Thief and the Emperors Treasure has seemed to slip in under the radar and become a mystery in itself in terms of its availability, which is a shame, as this is one beautiful and engaging adventure you don't want to miss, ever. Split into ten chapters, the game is essentially Prof Layton with rhythm mini games but with a Sega touch and they have done wonders with this game that rivals and blows the Layton series out of the water from: 1) The visuals and presentations which are excellently crafted. 2) Beautiful, engaging and compelling story involving a boys hunt for his father whilst having a secret side to his personality, a girls search for who she really is, and something about Napoleon coming back to life and reigning chaos in Paris.... 3) Sensational music that is really moving, in particular the violin performances... 4) Adorable companions.... 5) Just fun rhythm mini games which you can't help but nod your head to ranging from; hiding from guards, battling guards/henchmen, dancing, football, violin solos, sword fighting, cooking and many more... 6) Paris is wonderful to look at and explore and Sega have done it so well that its like you're there. 7) A possible sequel? Who knows... After 15 hours, Ive completed the story, finished two of the side quests/collectables but have barely scratched the surface of this party. With more content in terms of: Getting rank A on the 50+ rhythm games which unlocks one of the bonus chapters... Unlock-able in-game scenes and audios to watch and listen to. Marathon mode where you choose one of four rhythm games and boogie till you drop (or miss three times) Hard mode. Street pass and download play features-now you can dance off in style against a family member or friend... Conclusion: This game is packed with content as well as quality. With a gorgeous story, endless replay-ability with 50+ rhythm games, and much more, this game has something for all ages (especially with three save slots). If you enjoy the Layton series, Rhythm Paradise or Elite Beat Agents, or love an engaging and compelling story with mysterious twists, then look no further. Don't miss out on this truly magical game.
