Review of F1 2011 (PS Vita)
The PS Vita is a brilliant piece of hardware and although F1 2011 isn't a bad piece of software it certainly felt like a first generation game overall.
Good Game
I bought F1 2011 for my son who has not put it down since, he absolutely loves it and it has kept him occupied for hours.
Mixed Feelings
Definitely worth buying however shame that the graphics are not that stunning, as compared to Wipeout. Theres a lot for your money in this game.
f1 2011 vita
Sumo digital have produced a portable F1 almost identical to the console experience. All the races and modes are available with the exception of live the life mode however this does not detract from the overall experience. The game has excellent graphics and is perfectly suited for short sessions on the move. Touch screen integration could certainly do with improvement for the next vita version, particularly the ingame menus as they are controlled by the dpad and thumbsticks. In fact the only touchscreen option I have noticed is for the camera during races. As a first F1 game for the vita this is an excellent attempt at demonstrating that the vita can get near the console game quality. Recommended for all racing fans.
