Best since RE4 !!!

Amazing graphics, amazing controls and a superb story. This is the best game in the series since Resident Evil 4. And the addition of the WiiU gamepad makes this version without a doubt the best.

One of the best Resident Evil.

After the not bad Resident Evil 5 and the infamous Resident Evil 6, here comes RE Revelations a really good game compared with the other two. Good graphics, good history. A must buy for WiiU.

The future of Resident Evil

Resident Evil Revelations for the Wii U is the best RE game in years. Originally a 3ds exclusive game, Resident Evil Revelations has been given the HD treatment so even more players get the opportunity to play one of last year's biggest 3ds titles. This time you mostly take control of Jill Valentine aboard an abandoned cruise ship, The Queen Zenobia trying to find her missing partner. The game adopts a tv series style of storytelling with parts being introduced as episodes with a fantastic recap of the game's events to refresh players' minds. The Wii U version is the essential version to own, multiple play styles and options are available such as off TV Play and more traditional controls with a Wii U Pro Controller, the Wii U Gamepad displays maps, menus, weapons etc and clears up the screen for more immersion. This time the series has gone more towards it's original Survival Horror roots so expect quiet hallways, limited ammo and powerful B.O.W.s stalking you from the dark. Miiverse functionality is definitely a key feature for example being able to post death messages if you unfortunately meet an early end, as well as monster messages and as well as being able to upload and talk about moments from the game with others over Nintendo Network. Plenty of scares, well paced story and more importantly Resident Evil going back to what it does best, if Capcom continue down this path I cannot wait for more Resident Evil in the future.

It's Resident Evil!

Really enjoyable in hd this "new" Resident Evil! The graphics are honest although it is derived from a handheld console. The wonderful thing is the direction of the game and the narrative with its constant flashbacks! It is really an interactive movie! This adventure can not be missed in the private collection of a serious player!

Resident Evil : Revelations

I love Resident Evil: Revelations. It has fantastic graphics, and goes back to Resident Evil v 4.0 game play style (one of my favourites). It's an excellent game - recommended.

a return to form

Resident Evil: Revelations is a return to the series roots, it's a more slow paced, puzzle solving horror game, with less action. Unfortunately it lacks the polish or depth of the original games, but for under 30 pounds, it's more than worth a play.

Back to basics!

As the title says Resident Evil: Revelations has went back to basics, which in this case is an amazing thing.

Great game - best console to play it on.

Whilst playing Resident Evil: Revelations I always got the impression that it was made with the Wii U in mind. I've not played the Xbox or Playstation versions but I can't help but imagine that those will lack in comparison to the Wii U version and its special functions (death messages on Miiverse, monster messages, quick weapon change on game pad) these all add to a fantastic gaming experience. The actual game is good. I know people were saying that it was a much better game than the more recent ones released which I agree with. Some people say the story felt a bit 'jumpy' but there are sections at the beginning of each chapter that really allow this to happen. It feels like a top resident evil game and I've really enjoyed it and I'm someone who would say whether its a naff game or not. This is a must buy for horror game fans and if you are going to buy it, the Wii U version is the way forward.
