    Description

You play as Adam Jensen, an ex-SWAT specialist who's been handpicked to oversee the defensive needs of one of America's most experimental biotechnology firms. Your job is to safeguard company secrets, but when a black ops team breaks in and kills the very scientists you were hired to protect, everything you thought you knew about your job changes.

Badly wounded during the attack, you have no choice but to become mechanically augmented and you soon find yourself chasing down leads all over the world, never knowing who you can trust. At a time when scientific advancements are turning athletes, soldiers and spies into super enhanced beings, someone is working very hard to ensure mankind's evolution follows a particular path.
You need to discover where that path lies. Because when all is said and done, the decisions you take, and the choices you make, will be the only things that can change it.

    Features:

    • A Divided Near-future: discover a time of great technological advancement, but also a time of chaos and conspiracy. Mechanical augmentations of the human body have divided society between those who can afford them, and those who can't. Opposing forces conspire from the shadow to control the destiny of mankind: a human revolution is coming.
    • A Perfect Mix of Action and Role-play: the game uniquely combines action-packed close-quarter takedowns with intense shooting, offering a vast array of character augmentations and upgrades for the many weapons at your disposal. Unlock new abilities and increase your stealth, social, hacking or combat skills: the game rewards all styles of play and approaches. Determine how you want your character to evolve, based on how you want to play the game.
    • Choices and Consequences: shoot your way through your enemies, sneak up behind them without being traced, hack systems to retrieve crucial information, or use your social skills to extract information from key characters--there are always choices, multiple approaches, multiple paths and multiple tools at your disposal. Choose your playing style and face the consequences of your actions: you decide how the story unfolds.

    Deus Ex 3: Human Revolution

Deus Ex 3: Human Revolution is an amazing game, that catches the vibe of the original Deus Ex. The updates make the game-play well in the modern era of gaming, and the classic Deus Ex gameplay makes sure this is one unique experience. Stealth, action, conspiracies, role playing, suspense, simply amazing are words that spring to mind when I think about this game. It usually takes me months to beat a long game. This game took me over 35 hours to beat, and I did it in only one and a half week. I simply could not put it down. I even bought a copy as a gift for a friend. Human Revolution is truly an experience that must not be missed.

    Deus Ex 3: Human Revolution

Deus Ex 3: Human Revolution has an interesting story-line, multiple approaches and routes to completing objectives, sensible dialogue, different approaches to character development, and some great, but not too frequent cut-scenes. Combine all of this together, and it makes for a great game. Even the hacking mini-game is good fun. I have not played the original Deus Ex game nor have I played Invisible War, but I don´t feel that I've been missing out on anything in Human Revolution because of that. The game runs smoothly for me, on a mid-range computer. The only technical hiccup I have experienced, is that it takes, in my case, a long time to close the game down, and to regain control of the computer after pressing exit. Despite this, I strongly encourage you pick the game up if you have an interest in RPGs, and the cyber theme does a good job of not putting you off.

    Deus Ex 3 Review

The game is in fact a prequel to the first game, the crossroad in human evolution, and you're in the middle of it. It blends first person shooter with RPG elements, everything with a great cinematic feeling, and a fantastic soundtrack. The first time I heard the opening sequence. The game itself transpires quality with a very decent duration (about 20-25 hours, including the subquests). Deus Ex Human Revolution? 2 words: buy it! You won't regret it.

    almost the best

I've played the first Deus Ex and I was dissapointed to see what developer was doing with the sequels. I must admit that this game is almost as good as the first installment - of course in playability terms. Of course it's smaller, you're locked in areas, but still its good old Deus - where you can finish the mission in at least 2-3 ways. Music is very good. Still playing it and enjoying finding all the different ways to solve some missions. I would recommend this game.

Sci-Fi and RPG to the max

Deus Ex 3: Human Revolution is one of the most brilliant games ever made. I really enjoyed playing the game. If you are Sci-Fi fan and want to experience a story ready for a cinematic transposition, this game is a must have.

    Amazing experience

This is a rare case of a game that lives up to his predecessor. I remember playing the original deus ex and feeling the same liberty and amaze. The soundtrack is masterful, the RPG elements are finely tuned and the gameplay as a whole is cohesive. I can't say much about the plot, but you should expect some great twists throughout the game. Does it live up to the original game? I believe it does.

Worthy of the name Deus Ex

I'm a fan of the original game, and while the sequel is different in some aspects, it's also familiar in many ways, the most obvious one being the ability to complete quests in several different ways. The writing is excellent and even actual mature subject matters are there. When was the last time you saw a game touch on subjects like Alzheimer's and do it believably and in good taste? Another big selling point is the overall atmosphere and the incredible soundtrack by Michael McCann. I often found myself just looking around and sucking in the atmosphere created by the strong art direction and masterfully produced music. All in all I feel like this is a definite improvement over the original in most areas, something that is certainly not a given when it comes to sequels.

    Deus Ex : Human Revolution

This is an excellent game! It has a great story, and I love the RPG elements of the game as well as the shooter elements. You are able to play it how ever you want, as you can decide to either complete missions silently and stealthily, or go in, all guns blazing. As well as this, the dialogue scenes offer you choices of response, which can effect the outcome of your missions. I highly recommend this game !
