Diablo III is the latest installment in the innovative role playing action game series that is brought to you by Blizzard. The story follows on twenty years from the aftermath of the events that unravelled in Diablo II, and evil has once again found its footing in Tristram, a city in the world of Sanctuary. You have risen to the challenge of defending Sanctuary, putting your life on the line and establishing yourself as this era's hero.

Personalize your form as the protagonist by choosing from five different classes: Barbarian, Demon Hunter, Monk, Witch Doctor and Wizard. Each one of these classes come with their own specific advantages, whether it be with magic or melee, amongst other abilities. Your character can unlock more skills as they level up, with new features added into this game which makes your skill building entirely modifiable, allowing you to tailor your skills to your exact specifications. This revised skill system moulds itself to fit you, enabling you to equip six active and three passive skills at one time.
With your own personalised abilities at hand, travel through this vast, visually stunning, and completely interactive world, and discover your own adventure as you explore this game's incredible storyline. Along the way you will encounter seemingly never ending onslaughts of demons and various enemies, as well as monstrous bosses, each providing you with experience that will add up to increase your level. This combat is helped by three artisans who you will find throughout the game: the Blacksmith, the Jeweller, and the Mystic. These three craftsmen may, if you're lucky, join you on your travels. If so, they will forge, create, repair, and enhance all of your armour and weaponry, enabling you to be the best warrior and hero that you can possibly be.
Alongside the storyline, there is a new quest system, tons of new items, and there are also many other activities and interactive environments to explore and indulge yourself in. Some of these environments are many various dungeons and cellars with their own unique layouts, that differ each and every time you enter them. To help you with all of these many challenges, you may have your own band of followers: an Enchantress, Scoundrel, and Templar. These people have their own skills to upgrade, and can be customised by you in how they fight in order to create the best team of champions to follow you.
Defend the world of Sanctuary with the help of your team and all your keenly developed skills, and finally restore peace and the balance between good and evil. You are the hero now, and Diablo III is now yours to reign supreme. (Cat Emerson)

Diablo 3
I would like to warn everybody that Diablo 3 requires an active internet connection, otherwise it won't work! It uses the same principle as World of Warcraft - it has a launcher that checks for the latest updates, and only if you are up to date, you will be able to play. Also, all the characters are kept on the Battlenet servers. This is an online RPG... so I don't think you will be able to just install it and play on your own as any other game such as of course Diablo II, Titan Quest or Sacred 1 and 2. In regards to the game, I only put in about 4 hours last night after launch but it was great. It is what you would expect. There's no point me going on explaining the game mechanics or class options as you can check that out on the official Diablo III website. However, what I did find is that the game greatly rewards you when playing multiplayer. Drop-wise I have received about 100% more purples from playing with others than soloing which puts the question up... why is that Blizzard is keen on rewarding players in teams, more than solo players? I am talking about major difference. When playing with others I have received about 50 purple items... when soloing I got about 5 and they were of low quality nothing compared do the stuff I got in multiplayer. Again bear in mind as it is more rewarding to play with others so you may want to start your adventure from level 1 with others. My other criticism is the cut scenes... I was really looking forward the the Blizzard famous movies yet in this case they decided to go for a pencil drawn animation... much like a graphical book and the chosen character narrating it's story.

Awesome
I have played Diablo 1, Diablo 2, and D2: Lord of destruction, but I believe Diablo 3 will be the best of the franchise. I have played the beta, and followed the work of Blizzard with great attention, and I am very satisfied with the result. Diablo 3 will be a must-have game for diablo-fans, as to newcomers. It is very easy to learn, but very hard to master. I recommend this game to every hack-and-slash fan out there.

Diablo 3
Diablo 3 is really amazing and fun. It has a good atmosphere. When I heared in 2008 that they were planning to release it, I was very happy, because I've been a fan of Diablo since I played Diablo 2 the first time when my father showed me. Anyway, I highly recommend you purchase this product, because this game is really fun and won't get old.

Meh
Played the Beta and it feels as dated as it looks, apart from improved physics and resolution not much has changed until you get into the online parts. Blizzard could of just re-skinned Diablo 2 gameplay wise, I am sure it will sell plenty on fanboi zealousness alone.

Diablo 3
Diablo 3 will be one of the greatest games of the year, in my opinion. I've played the beta and it looks and feels great. I played Diablo 2 in my childhood, and can't wait to get my hands on the third instalment.

Great game
Diablo is a great game. From Diablo 1 to 3 beta, I didn't miss any. There are really fantastic improvements in 3, so when I knew the release date I pre-ordered it with no hesitation.

Epic
Going by the beta of Diablo 3, which only gives you up to 13 levels to play with for each class, this game is going to be game of the year without a doubt. You could play the game 10 times from start to finish and never see the exact same dungeon layout twice. Each class offers vastly different play styles, from the Barbarian which is an exclusively up close and personal melee class, to the wizard which focuses solely on ranged spells. Must buy game for any PC gamer. You will not regret it.

BETA impression
I found the demo of Diablo 3 was ok, but it feels very dated and sort of boring (BETA only had like 2hs playtime max). If you loved Diablo and Diablo II maybe watch some people play it, or read some reviews before buying it. Dungeons are not randomly generated anymore which makes online play a bit boring after a while. Loot is randomly generated which is the "fun" in this game, gather loot loot looooot. And try to sell it on the Real Life Money Auction House. Yes you can MAKE money while playing this game. And here we have another problem with the game and that is Chinese gold/item farmers which flood the game and the AH. Dosen't deserve the hype, for a ok game.
