One of the Best 4X games ever
I find SMAC to be one of the most addictive games I've ever played. You build colonies, units, research an exhaustive tech-tree, and kill things, also has interesting story woven into the free-form gameplay. It has voiceovers during each tech breakthrough and Secret Project (wonders), with top notch voice acting (many games today cant still compare to this one). Another thing that stands outs are the fully customizable units. I can keep on praising the politics system, the great enviroment and many more things, because lets face it, this might one of the best games of all time.
