Description

The Call of Duty series has been the pinnacle of war games since its first release for the PC in 2003. Modern warfare 2 was one of the most anticipated games of 2009, and when it was finally released, it did not disappoint many people. The single player part of the game is a gripping tale that is sure to get first person shooter fans hooked. The part of this game that makes it really exceptional is the multiplayer experience. In the multiplayer part of the game there are a number of game varieties that have been set up for you to play, ranging from a team deathmatch to free for all matches. They have really expanded on the online multiplayer aspect of the game, including customizable killstreaks, ranging from controlling a missile, being the gunner of an AC - 130 to getting a nuclear missile enabling you to win the match even if you are losing. Overall I give this game an excellent rating of five stars as it offers all that you could want for a first person shooter and more.

This game is yet another fantastic title in the series. The single player is good and the addition of special ops a very good idea. Although my main complaint comes with the online multiplayer, for as good as I think it is the amount of glitches and lag in the game frustrates me. As to why people have to cheat when playing a game just confuses me instead of just playing it and enjoying the experience. I think if there was some sort of beta released these glitches would have been wiped out and the gameplay experience would have been far better then what it already is. Therefore this is why I only give it 4 stars.

I waited so long for this game and wasn't disappointed. It must be played through your home cinema for maximum pleasure, well pleasure for me not for my wife and neighbours, Its so realistic, the game play blew my mind and now i cant stop playing it, my adrenaline pumps for hours after ive been forced to stop playing
