In the near future, cyborg technology has become commonplace throughout society. Three years have passed since the collapse of the Patriots system that had been secretly controlling the global power balance from the shadows. However, peace remains elusive. First of I want to stay, the figure you get with the collectors edition is absolutely awesome! As for the game, it's terrific! The way how they've combined the stealth/hack 'n' slash game-play is very enjoyable. It just feels great to be able to slice through everything. You feel like your unstoppable (the hard mode however can be pretty challenging). All in all, very good and a thoroughly unique game! Well worth buying!

Amazing quality
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is from a fantastic game series, and although I've yet to play the game but the additional lure of Frank Juagar's ninja costume and white cyborg Raiden adds to the title - I'll soon find out if it works! The main draw of this limited edition piece is that it comes with the exclusive Play Arts figure, which stands at 1 foot tall, with interchangeable accessories and has amazing and consistent quality. When you compare this Play Arts to other ubiquitous Play Arts figures you can see that the money you've spent really makes a difference. It's totally different to the figures from other series that you can buy for 20 pounds! Given all of these points the figure is actually sold out in Japan, and is being charged at a much higher price elsewhere on the web, so why not get the figure and game for the price of the figure alone? It's a real bargain, the only gripe being that the Japanese LE came with a soundtrack CD, but given that we're given extra costumes that the USA had to pay for it's not such a bum deal! This is highly recommended for collectors!

A cut above...
A fast paced action hack & slash from the creative mind of Hideo Kojima and the technical expertise at platinum games. You will have to dig deep to find a game with more frantic action, huge set pieces and satisfying difficulty curve. By the games end even at the normal settings, you must be able to master the controls, to get past the middle section of this game and in to the last quarter where the difficulty ramps up significantly. The only downfall are some controller issues, a dedicated blocking button would be nice, and sometimes the camera does its best to focus on the least important things happening on the screen. If you are a fan of platinum's earlier efforts, looking at especially Bayonetta this is a game for you. This being a limited edition you will also get a quite detailed figurine of the games main character Raiden in his white armor. (This is an figurine by Play Arts, with both pose and appearance customizable). As an extra bonus, two extra DLC armors are also in this package: "The white armor" (as depicted on the figurine) and more awesome "The Cyborg Ninja skin/armor" which makes Raiden look like Frank Jeager from the original Metal Gear Solid.

Metal gear solid is greatest series ever. This game is something new but the story is still the best. The limited edition is worth the price, even when it is a little too much for one game in my opinion.

I've waited for the next series of Metal Gear games for a long time after playing Peace Walker. Raiden is another character that I love in the MGS series. After I finished playing MGS4, I wanted to play a sword play, ninja game with Raiden. Metal Gear Rising is really user friendly, great work by Platinum Games. This is a must buy game if you love Raiden, and if you do, you should not miss out on this limited edition with painted figure.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is nothing like Metal Gear Solid but it's still very fun. Like you'd expect there's a change in style since this is a hack'n'slash and not a stealth game, some may not like this but since it's technically not a part of Metal Gear Solid it matters little. I won't reveal any spoilers, but the story was a bit lacking, it was fun and memorable, but lacking. I liked it because it did have a lot of fun with what it was doing, didn't take itself seriously which is why it's as fun at it is. The game also has good characters and voice acting. Furthermore, the gameplay is also really a blast, the fast paced combat feels good and the cutting mechanic delivers. Special combos and the parry might be hard to get a hang of but overall the combat is fun and rewarding. I give the game 4 stars, aside from a campaign with much replayability there's also bonus VR missions to keep you busy. Highly recommended!
A great game. but not a great mgs game
First off, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance - Limited Edition is a great game. The Metal Gear in the title is very misleading as it is in no way a Metal Gear "Solid" game. It's a 3rd person action hack and slash game, and in its own way it's a great one.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance - Limited Edition is an awesome game! I'm a huge Metal Gear fan I was at first dubious about a spin off series. Having played through and getting used to this very unique game, I think it does Raiden justice and kick starts his franchise! The limited edition bundle was excellent and I'm so glad I picked it up!

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is a good action game, with its own style and its own clear view of things. The gameplay is solid, well-researched, and has character: the precision cut, the zandatsu and system saves are really innovative. Compared to the previous work of the team, however, Revengeance is much less technical and more easy to deal with, and has some problems with the handling of the camera. The combat system gives the player the opportunity to exhibit his virtuosity, but not you're not necessarily forced to do your best. The better aspect of Revengeance, however, is the variety: good boss fights, a good number of different enemies, stealth sections and extra weapons. All this helps to build a pleasant experience to the end. Overall, longevity is also good. In short I would sincerely recommend this to all fans of action. The extras in the Limited Edition are really spectacular. The Play Arts Kai is one of the most detailed action figures series, and Cyborg Raiden is one of the most detailed figure of the series. The only flaw, for me, is that it's not in scale with the other metal gear play arts kai.

Oh my, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is an awesome game! Sure it borrows elements from different games but this does not affect the game negatively. It does the opposite! I read many reviews of the game that state the camera was horrible, but it wasn't that bad. Also the graphics aren't quite on par with Metal Gear Solid 4, but it's still a really fun game! The figure was a very welcome addition to the game, but I feel the box art of this limited edition is simply amazing! It really felt like a metal gear game when I finally could unpack it! You will find yourself replaying the game constantly. Simply put it's an amazing game, unfortunately the delivery of the game took too long. I highly recommend this edition to anyone who likes Metal Gear and action games!

Rising & Raiden Review
This exclusive set is a fantastic buy for any video game fan, especially a Metal gear fan. The artwork on the main outer box is fantastic, it's a box you want to display not hide away. The Play Arts White Raiden figure is also really impressive. Big solidly built figure with great detail articulation and shelf presence. As for the game itself, FANTASTIC! The game plays extremely well, I have completed it 9+ times as it has a great replay factor due to the huge amount of unlock-able items such as new swords, secondary weapons, outfits, skills & more. The harder the difficulty the more enjoyable the game is. It really forces you to learn the parry system and enemy A.I. animations to create the perfect counter in battle. Its visually stunning, the game-play is very unique and makes you feel like you are Raiden & the music is awesome! Before release people were unsure if this was "non-canon" but I was pleased when I played it to see nothing of the sort, it does not break any rules of previous games, we even have mentions of previous characters, events and get to meet some old friends! Revengeance mode is by far the most challenging mode. However, this set offers you a unique unlockable White Raiden DLC code which allows you to carry 10 repair nanopastes (as opposed to 5), thus giving you twice the amount of health for the super hard battles. Id recommend this set to anybody and everybody. Fantastic game, the DLC skin makes playing the hardest modes easier and the figure is superb... rounded off with a lovely box! 5* in every way.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is amazing from game to graphics the challenging parry system really makes this game stand out. However, being able to cut through just about everything is too much fun, this game could have been longer for the amount of time we had to wait for it. If you play well you can complete this in 5 hours. All in all I would recommend this title, especially the white Armour limited edition. The model is amazing and is a great collector's item, it is well worth the money. I give this game a 8/10 only because it could have been longer.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance - Limited Edition is one of the best action experiences I've had in ages. Brilliant story like always, fantastic music, amazing combat, incredible action scenes and boss battles that will have you on the edge of your seat. You'll be sold on this game by the time you beat the first boss. The extra's are also very worth it, the white armor can be a lifesaver on higher difficulties and the Play Arts Kai action figure of Raiden looks excellent and it's this action figure that sold me on getting the limited edition over a stansard copy. Really worth the money if you ask me.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance in its own right is great fun and very addictive, however, this limited addition is epic. Play arts Kai have outdone themselves with the limited edition Raiden figure which comes with its own box inside for those who don't like to open their collectibles. Great set, buy if you can, it's worth it!

I have been eagerly awaiting this game since completing MGS4. When I recieved the game from Zavvi I was extremely excited, £100 for a limited edition version with a rare figure, which shall never be opened! Unlike other games in the series I was excited to play it but easily found myself getting bored, something which has never happened to me before in a MGS game. The first few chapters were good and the VR missions was a nice retro feel. When I reached the second boss (the detachable guy) I felt disappointed, like the game had lost its spark, it was way too over the top. Sam's battle was extremely difficult. The games parry system is rediculous. The odds of you getting a parry are 0.1% and if you don't spam moves by jumpin around you ant kill him. Far from what I ever wanted to see in a MGS game. I was shocked to fid very little relevance to Snake and no mention of Merel or the rat pack? Did they just cease to exist in the MGS world? Overall the game was okay, but unlike the others in the franchise, I will not be playing this again (except for the DLC missions).
Amazing Game - Amazing Ltd Edition
I had been waiting on this Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance - Limited Edition game since the announcement. I love the demo and the final game does not disappoint Together with the fantastic PlayArts figure and the great packaging - one of the best Limited Editions I own!
