I think Prince of Persia The Forgotten Sands has the easiest gameplay of the franchise. Anyway I like the new features like the teleport and the water freeze effect but where is the time slowing power? I think that's the basis of the Prince, to undo and slow the time... The game has a pretty good storyline and the death of Malik gives the game an aunce of drama.I know this is a review but i can't help myself to shut up and not say that Ubisoft could've extend the Dahaka of Time idea. How the Prince became chased by it. But who knows what Ubi is planing ...

    Yes

I think this is a real turning point for the series, taking it back to the old school with great puzzles and some really compelling action. One of my games of the year.

    The Prince is back!

The Prince of Persia returns in The Forgotten Sands but this time things are a lot easier. The combat system from the PS2 titles is gone. No more intricate combos, now it's just press square like hell, jump over enemy's head, hit square some more and roll away. Hardcore fans of the franchise will probably find this a little boring and also when balancing on beams, the Prince automatically keeps his balance, this is no longer done by the player, taking even more challenge out of the game. Don't get me wrong, it's still a good game with some amazing visuals, but it's very dumbed down compared to the Two Thrones. On the other hand, some of the powers that the prince has in this game are pretty good, like the ability to freeze jets of water and swing/climb on them like poles, and the memory recall power is pretty good as well. So if you are a hardcore fan, this game is still worth playing, but you might want to wait for the price to drop first.
