    A fun and frantic evolution

The first Resident Evil for the new generation of consoles doesn't just improve the quality of the graphics but also the abilities of the enemies. No longer do you face off against slow moving zombies, but instead mutated humans who will anticipate your actions and even set-up barricades to block your exits. To combat this new menace you not only have a permanent onscreen partner but a wide range of more athletic moves, including dodges and the ability to take cover behind any piece of scenery. The biohazards are evolving yet again - and so is the game itself.

    Excellent!

Fantastic story, works brilliantly with the move controller and fixed problems from resident evil 4. Personally not as frightening as its predecessor but still stacked with tense battles with giant mutated enemies.

    Fast, Shocking, Fun

I like playing RE pretty much. It's fast, kind of shocking and pretty hard to handle some times. Without my friend (who already played RE) i would have had a lot of depressing moments. But with some help in Coop-Mode it's really fun.

    Good co-op experience

This is a great co-op game, the best one to play with a friend with split screen, if you don't count the special ops of Modern Warfare 2. However, this is no longer a Resident Evil. This is a shooter with the same characters and with its name. I'm not sure if it does work good on Move though, controls are a bit sloppy. But this is, overall, cheap and good. So, go for it.

    price-performance ratio exellent!!

I would give the game itself 4/5 stars because of the controls (no running and shooting!)! But for this price and the game's content (2 add-ons, costums, PS Move compability) I give it 5/5! You get plenty of entertainment for a few bucks! Exellent!!

    move control?

Having just purchased the Move, I thought this would be the perfect game to get to grips with the new controller. The motion control does feel to be a little bit of an afterthought, and does work to a certain degree. The crosshair moving only to the edge of the screen and then having to move the character with the pad to see further is a big niggle with me. Multitasking is not a strong point for the main character and having to stand still and shoot is a major bug-bear, especially with so many enemies in some tight spaces. The game is generally tough, so definitely one for you if you're up for a challenge. Good value for money game and at this price, well worth a punt.

    PS3 best co-op game

Although the story of this game has few to do with the first chapters, for what concerns the gameplay with a friend, it is outstanding: many areas to explore, weapons to upgrade, intelligent enemies and 4 levels of difficulty to choose for tons of trophies to unlock make this game a must-buy if you have a friend to play with. Now available in a new version with more mercenaries, costumes and 2 sidequest. The very fond of survival horror might however tap their nose when realizing what has Resident Evil become.

A great title for co-op gaming

Good: -The graphics are rather impressive. -Excellent co-op. -Tons of unlockables. Bad: -The controls and inventory mechanics are archaic and sluggish. -No horror this time around. None at all. Resident Evil 5 is almost exclusively built upon it's co-op aspect. You are always forced to have a partner, even in single player. However, the partner AI is stupid. Very stupid. Thus, where RE5 really shines is playing the game with a friend.

    Surprisingly good

In my opinion this game has one of the best (split-screen) co-op modes I've seen on Playstation3 so far. If you have the chance, you should therefore play it with a friend. The story is built up very well and the enemies are not too easy to beat, although it sometimes takes quite a long time to finish a fight. The story and setting are quite exciting, that is, if you're not totally inured to this kind of game. This edition offers even more than the regular one, because it contains the add-ons which have been released so far and it supports Move, which is just great.

    Bargain gaming for Move!

I played this title first time round with the normal controller and thought it was an excellent game but the controls were a bit sluggish. But now it has Move's control set up it makes what was already a great game a superb game, add in all the added content and this is a blinding package for a bargain price. If your buying Move buy this you won't get a better deal.
