The game is set ten years after the Raccoon City incident, and there are both new and familiar faces returning to the fray. You will have the ability to play as more than one protagonist, and each of these playable characters come with their own unique storyline, companion, motivation, and perspective on the events occurring.
One such hero is Leon S. Kennedy. You will find yourself in Washington, D.C. with the President of the United States, who is planning on revealing the truth behind the events of Raccoon City in the hopes of preventing future bioterrorist activity. However, a bioterrorist attack is launched at your location, mutating the President and setting in motion another battle for Leon's survival. Meanwhile, another hero has just touched down in China, which is also under threat of another bioterrorist attack. This hero is Chris Redfield, a Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance member trying to regain control of the outbreaks wherever he can. These storylines will eventually overlap, leading to a greater plot and conclusion.
The gameplay within Resident Evil 6 is action oriented, although returns to favouring the survival horror aspect that made the series so legendary to begin with. The signature over the shoulder style camera has been incorporated once more, which gives more dynamic views of the revamped close quarters combat moves, as well as the ability to wield dual pistols. These combat improvements and introductions add to the adrenaline fuelled experience that is fighting for your life against hordes of zombies, and to the exhilerating experience that is playing Resident Evil 6. Resident Evil 6 is very good. I have played many games before, but this game is the best!
A big Melting Pot
Resident Evil 6 is a big melting pot, it uses a lot of references to all previous Resident evil games. But in fact, it stays average in every aspect. This game is between FPS and horror depending on the path you take. I suggest you to play with a friend to fully enjoy this game.

I am from Argentina. I buy this on November and this is a excellent game. The history is good. The characters Good. The macking of the zombies are great. The best Resident Evil after the resident evil 3 nemesis.

Awesome with tons of content
One can say that Resident Evil 6 is not like the original Resident Evil (survival horror). Personally I like how it changed to being more action oriented, this all started with Resident Evil 5 the previous title. It has 3 campaigns spanning out hours of chapters which is very cool as all the stories of all campaigns with different characters meet up at one point. Additionally the game also offers RPG elements (skills) which can be bought and assigned to your characters from bonus weapon damage to resistances and additional enemy drop items. This adds content and customisation to the game as well which I personally liked. Sometimes action sequences require certain buttons to be pushed in a certain order which may be frustrating at times but all in all it is an excellent game with re-playability. I would recommend this to anyone who likes 3rd person action games.
Resident Evil 1 to 6 in 1 game!
All your favourite Resident Evil characters are present in Resident Evil 6. Each character has different scenarios and it feels like you have bought more than just one game of resident evil. The game play and visuals are great.

I think Resident Evil 6 is awesome. I think the button mashing when a zombie grabs you is annoying but besides that the game is perfect. What more could you ask for? You've got 4 campaigns including Adas, mercenaries is back, a revamped control system that makes everything a lot more fluid and faster, plus awesome graphics and great storytelling. Gamers buy a game because they love it, not because websites give it a high score.
I've been a Resident Evil fan for years now, since the 2nd one. Even though they keep on changing the gameplay, I still like the game a lot. It doens't have the horror atmosphere anymore, now it's basically an action game, but it's still awesome, that's why I bought it. And also it's the largest Resident Evil ever.
More of the same action
If you're looking for a new instalment of great action with favourite characters such as Leon Kennedy, Chris Redfield or Ada Wong, this is your perfect choice. A blockbuster packed action video game with hundreds of bizarre creatures, strange locations and bigger than life explosions. Unfortunately, those who wanted a come back to the genuine survival horror genre will be a little disappointed.

Resident Evil 6 will divide fans old and new. It's not the title 'nostalgic' that so many fans have been waiting, and confirm the distance of this new course of the series with the first trilogy. But even comes close to the canons of a third-person shooter, Resident Evil maintains its strong character: it will be the focus still marked on the management of resources, the atmosphere is at times disturbing, this camera will be overwhelming overlooking the protagonists and that such disdain generates many players. The fact is that Resident Evil 6 is in some ways a unique product. Reaches the top of its class for many reasons: a control system a little 'clumsy, a certain repetitiveness situations, a technical component very deficient in some respects, and scenes that do not fit completely in the context of a non- is survival, but it is a horror (or gore or splatter, or whatever you like to call it). Still a fun game in co-op and especially rich in content, encased in a structure that greatly increases the replay value. There is a fair amount of fan service, though perhaps the team could have used more wisely the many tricks seen in three campaigns, composing adventures less "single-issue" (the one Chris is the worst) and approaching fourth chapter still undefeated. If you belong to that category of players moderates, who do not mind a discrete action, buy it safely. If rimpiangete old adventures of Jill, Claire and Chris, try instead to metabolize the fact that times have changed: do not exclude a priori this chapter, because despite a bitter after taste at times, may give you satisfaction. The game does not convince you, however, if you are looking for Action in line with the latest achievements of the gaming landscape, technically impeccable, quick and easy rhythms and with a good control scheme.
Back to the Evil
The "Resident Evil" brand is exactly like viruses of its stories: it resists, then gets infected and evolves, and you never know how the monstrosity will change. Resident Evil 6 is a mutant beast that's deeply different from the original, but at the same time it maintains characteristic features of the past. Three stories, three points of view, six protagonists and a sensual (and cryptic) Ada Wong, plus a new virus used for military purposes. The World is in chaos: this is the biggest Resident Evil ever. Where RE5 failed, RE6 gets amazing results thanks to a unique evolution of RE4 commands and totally new inventory. There's also evading moves, moving when aiming, physical attacks and quick shots, each feature is spectacular and strategic, thanks to the shortage of ammunition and variety of enemies. Despite some structural and conceptual defects, RE6 is fun, exciting and a must-buy for every Umbrella fan. This is revolutionary evil.
Resident Evil 6
Resident Evil 6 is an excellent game which has all that you could want. It's got a good story, with fast moves and interactive movies. This game is a great part of the Resident Evil game family. I think that this comes in 3rd place for this game series. The gameplay is quite similar to Resident Evil 5 and the controls are excellent. I had fun with this game and it´s much better than the bad game Operation Racoon City.

Another shooter
This not a bad game as it brings to the player a good entertainment during a reasonable period of time but it is just another third person shooter and not precisely very well accomplished. There are too many lacks in this game to make it a indispensable one. Technically the game is far to be good enough according to other nowadays games. It seems that this one has been made in a hurry. As a fan of horror (zombie shooting) games I have enjoyed it even if sometimes I have felt a little bit bored. It is still worth giving a chance to this game. In my own opinion I dare say that the Ada Wong campaign is maybe the most interesting of the four included in Resident Evil 6.

I've always loved the Resident Evil games and this one doesn't disappoint, it's got so much content and that's quite rare nowadays, it's got 4 campaigns and each of those has 5 chapters. You get skill points that'll help you build up your characters, it's got an engaging story and various collectibles to get your hands on. Fantastic game.

The game is despite some flaws such as the position of the camera very entertaining. With 4 different playable campaigns it has more to offer than the average modern game. With a good 20 - 25 hours of gameplay Resident Evil 6 is worth a look for a fan of the earlier titles in the series, but also for fans of the newer titles (Resident Evil 5). With no country safe from these attacks and the ensuing outbreaks, the entire world's population is united by a common fear that there is no hope left. revealed in the debut trailer. He is related to an existing Resident Evil character, but it is unclear who. Ada Wong will have a playable role in the game, though not immediately -- the Ada storyline will become available to players after the Chris and Leon arcs have been completed (probably similar to the 'Assignment Ada' bonus mission in Resident Evil 4), plus a third primary narrative featuring a new character. Any of the three main story branches will be selectable early on in the game, allowing players to see each storyline through to completion before starting another one. Resident Evil 6 is set to take place across the globe, including China, which has been an often-rumored location.
