Maybe I prefer capcom games rather than namco style. So it is a true gem and a great game, can't let the pad (yes, I also bought the saturn joypad for PS3) out of my hands.

Great game SFxT, you can play in arcade mode alone or with a friend, a lot of single player modes and 2 way to fight with other 1,2 or 3 friends. You've need it!

Street Fighter X Tekken is a good game. It takes a while to get used to though. Playing in tag or scramble modes with 3 others players is great too.

Not bad could be better

This game is not a bad fighting game if at times a little complex with the amount of different modes and additional features. In my opinion if TEKKEN x SF is made then this will be a much more enjoyable pick up and play title than SF x Tekken

Street Fighter X Tekken is perfect!

Streetfight X Tekken is really a great game. Gameplay, Graphics etc.are really good for this kind of a game. It's a more cartoon kind of game but really pleasant to watch. The dialogue of every character is funny, especially their facial expressions. A great example of this is Law. The game play is average. It is smooth and easy if you play with only punches and kicks, but it's really difficult if you want to use skills. The control buttons for the skills are difficult to use especially in a fight. The controls are not made for a normal PS3 controller but more for an arcade controller. The scramble mode is chaotic and it's quite hard to keep a track of what is going on, although the mode is fine in co-op. The game is really awesome and I really like to play the game in co-op mode. The maps are awesome, especially the ones whereby the level changes after each round. Downside of the game are the controls, it is really hard to learn how to do the skills and it not really made for a PS3 controller. The scramble mode in singleplayer is really chaotic.

Two titles - One disc

Since the announcement of this game I have been keeping my hopes high, because Tekken is one of my personal favorites. The clash with Street Fighter characters, was something I was looking forward to with great impatience. In the end, I see that it is somehow worth the wait. It's not fighting evolved, but it's great to see the combat styles and signature moves coming all around. Strong battles, great enjoyment and value for money. Only thing I didn't entirely like, was the cartoonish engine used, but that can be easily forgotten, as soon as the battle starts.

Much Better than Expected!

I am a hardcore Street Fighter 2 fan. I've loved the series for almost 20 years now and I adored the new Street Fighter IV and its Super, and Arcade versions. This title plays beautifully. The tag method is brilliant. Unlike previous tag-battle titles that I've played, in this one you die as soon as one of your players gets knocked out. The result of which is a far more tense battle and extra panic as soon as your damage gets anything like low. It is great, great fun. All in all, a fabulous fighter.

Good, but not great.

If you're a fan of the Tekken franchise and are used to the Tekken style of play, you will be disappointing with this game; the characters have a severe lack of moves and after a while it just gets boring. There are some positives to this game however, there are plenty of characters to choose from right from the start, you can mix and match with all of them to try and find your favourite team and you can change your characters colours to your liking. One of the main positives I like about this game is the mix up of online/offline play. For example, whilst playing through story mode you could be spontaneously challenged by another person playing online (this can be turned off) which I feel adds an element of surprise to the game. If you're looking for storyline, there is a hint of that, a few end videos for designated teams i.e Juri and Bison, Xiaoyu and Jin etc, but not enough to form a proper storyline. A bit of text after each match doesn't quite cut the mustard in my opinion. Overall I wouldn't recommend this game unless you're a die hard fan of both franchises, the game just doesn't offer enough storyline or diverse fighting to warrant a purchase. This is my favorite game for a cheap price and brand new. Cannot complain.

Street Fighter X Tekken is one of the most epic fighting games of all time. With the graphics taken from Street Fighter and the combination with Tekken's characters, this game is a must have for every fan of these two series.

Street Fighter X Tekken is a great fighting game. I remember the times I had with games like this when I was 14 years old. Zavvi had fast shipping and it was an easy transaction too.

Well, there's not a lot of things I can say about Street Fighter X Tekken. It's really similar to Street Fighter 4 in almost every way. The graphics do seem more colorful and well-polished, but the gameplay is the same as before. The main feature is definitely the inclusion of Tekken. The Tekken characters feel nice to use, and there are different depths to each character's gameplay. So much so, that they don't feel new to the game at all, which is good. The balance is still good as always, and there aren't characters that are stronger or weaker than the rest. The new design of the Tekken characters, I didnt like at all. Kuma became a large, grizzly, weird bear, and some characters skins (like Haihachi) look reall grey. Overall, it's another great game for the Street Fighter fans, with more characters, which is never a bad thing.

Why choose between Street Fighter or Tekken, when you can have both in this awesome cross over? Fans will come across familiar casts of the game some to name Ryu, Ken, Bison, Guile Kazuya, Nina, King, Law and many more! The original game was flawed due to an audio issue, which is now fixed thanks to an online patch for this game. Tekken characters were very well done, although some of them are missing their moves. Tekken characters seem to have more moves in general. Fans of past Street Fighter games will come across the same control mechanics with the exception of the new juggle and tag system. If your a Street Fighter or Tekken fan, be sure check this out!

Those familiar to the Street Fighter's control system will feel right at home, and for all the Tekken Fanboys and girls out there you don't need to worry as the combinations will be a piece of cake for you.
