So good it instantly validated my purchase of a Playstation 3.

There's very little to be said against this game: Sometimes it feels a little unbalanced (e.g. scouts are overpowered later in the game) and the loading times are long, which does not go too well with the unforgiving game mechanics (one wrong move can spell your defeat, or at least decrease your mission ranking). But apart from these nitpicks the game is fantastic. Beautiful graphics and music, good story with many touching moments and addictive tactical gameplay. Additionally, the mission variety is almost unmatched in my opinion.

Masterpiece

This game is outstanding. Not only does it impress with its artistic style graphics, but it also innovates among the ranks of Strategy Roleplaying games through through the use of the Blitz battle system. But that is not all! The engaging story along with some jaw-dropping cutscenes never cease to impress through this 30+ journey. Not to mention the surprise set for Skies of Arcadia fans as well as the inclusion of hard mode that will make this one a really challenge!

Poignant depth

This game is the best console strategy game that i have played in this generation. With a large variety of unit types, that can be equiped with different weapons and that have unique traits that can affect the way they work with other units or certain terrains. This different layers provide the oportunity to apporach the same stages with different strategies. For me, the battle system alone justifies buying the game but this is just the skeleton upon which a beautiful story is told. A lot of memorable moments and characters you actually care about with excellet manga/anime desings. A real must for anyone who likes strategy or anime.

Beautiful Masterpiece

A strategy game with total control of your unit combine with some 3rd person shooter elements and taking command of a certain tank it's a totally new experience in the world of strategy games. This game has so much depth in it, different classes to try and beautiful cell shaded graphics. This warrants a must buy!
