Asura's Wrath is the excitingly violent action game brought to you by Capcom. Using an innovative blend of both Asian mythology and science fiction, Asura's Wrath incorporates a thoroughly textured storyline, and combines it with hard hitting exaggerated action right from the get go. Fight your way through this jam packed action game and the sea of madness within it, as you prove that rage never dies.
You are Asura, a demigod and former General in the court of the divine Emperor. You return home from war to a summons from the Emperor himself, but when you arrive to meet him, you find him murdered. You are accused of treason and murder, and escape only to find that a fellow demigod, Deus, was the one who framed you, and has now murdered your wife and kidnapped your daughter. Now banished and stripped of all your powers, you must battle your way through the world and every demigod and enemy you encounter as you search for your beloved missing daughter. You are Asura the fallen, and the world must feel your wrath.
Asura's Wrath specialises in both ranged attacks as well as close quarters combat, within which both quick time events and action commands have been incorporated, keeping you fully engaged in the battle at all times. With every blow you land, your Burst Gauge will steadily fill, and when full you will be able to unleash the full extent of Asura's wrath in order to truly decimate your opponent. This will come in handy as more often than you would probably like, you will come face to face with bosses that are the size of planets. The fighting style you possess will also change throughout the game, allowing even more versatility and combat adaptations. Asura's Wrath combines deep storyline with fast and fluid violence, creating a game that will appeal to players on all levels. Remember, rage never dies. (Cat Emerson)

Asura's Wrath is a game that's not for everyone. If you enjoy animated series, love violence, fantastic artistic expression and a completely unique experience though you should try Asura's Wrath. The is structured like a tv-series. You start an episode, go through a number of events (mostly fights) and then you end the episode. Then you start the next episode and the story continues. If you haven't played in a while you also get a brief recap of the events so far. The game does contain a large number of quicktime events. So you have to press the correct button at the right time to ensure the story moves forward. Some people might say that this game does not contain a lot of gameplay. They would be wrong. It's the same way a game like Heavy Rain might not be very involving because of the limited gameplay. In both games though, you get drawn in because of the story, the way that story is told, the characters and the unfolding events. I really enjoy my purchase and for a low price you can't go wrong.
I didn't like Asura's Wrath. The story and characters are fine, but you can't make an action game with 20% game play and 80% movies. It's just boring and the dozens of QTE didn't make it better, just more frustrating. Not to mention the missed chapters and finale, just to milk more money with DLC.
Less of a game and more an interactive anime, Asura's Wrath is fairly limited on gameplay. QTE's and a basic battle system intersperse immersive cut-scenes which is the main draw here. The story is excellent and ultimately that and the presentation is what make this a worthwhile and unique experience.
Azura's Wrath is a very good game, it has everything that you will need to spend some time playing on a weekend or just chilling out after a busy day at work. The gameplay itself is a bit short (at least for me) but it has stuning graphics which kinf of makes up for it. It has similarities to God of War that makes it a very interesting game to play. I did enjoy playing it, and I do recommend it for everyone who wants to destroy enemys into pieces and see a good background story.
This game is a manga made, it is an experience almost divine if it were not for some small things... Graphics really excellent, very good music, great characters, this is Asura's Wrath! The story is exactly what we would find our favorite manga! Divinity in conflict, injustice, re found friends, all surrounded by a strong sense of honor and the greatest spark of every mortal or divine soul that is the FURY! A game truly divine if it were not for the fighting style a bit repetitive (almost always use the B button) we can define a game demigod in the end nobody is perfect ... except: oops! better not say anything else will find out just buying it! which I can highly recommend!
So you played God Of War, and you probably played Some Dragon Ball games, maybe a few Naruto ones too, you liked it, it was fun and than after a few weeks it got boring, Well, imagine playing them all in one Single game Combined, "Asura's Wrath" is not just another game waiting for you to play it after you got tired of it, "Asura's Wrath" will make you forget about your exams, grab your controller and gaming food goodies and spend hours playing it and having fun, "Asura's Wrath" has no limits to it's powers, If you thought Kratos was wicked, you ain't seen nothing yet, Unlike most action games where you can level up and acquire new abilities , Asura's fighting style will change according to the story. Asura's fighting styles are all predicated from the dramatic story or beats within the game. At certain points in the game, if Asura gets extremely angry, you might see him fight with six arms. At even later points in the game, Asura might get beat down and lose most of his arms. So the next time someone tells you "I Own at God Of War, Kratos is so epic!" Simply replay back "See you on the February 21st, 2012 , bring your wallet, you're gonna owe me $100."
