The action walks on high heels
After the guns of Dante and the epic deeds of Kratos, the action now walking on high heels and soft curves of the witch named Bayonetta. It just takes a few minutes of play to learn the effective combo system and unleash devastating fury of hair and other magical arts of our sexy heroine. The narration of the story has a strong taste j-pop that probably could not please everyone, but instant and fun gameplay, a very charismatic character, the right dose of the grotesque and a very economical price make this game an excellent pastime for players of all ages.

Simply the best
The best version of the game, without doubt. I had the PS3 version, but this is one of the games whose version is better on xbox.The game was created originally on it, and this can be seen on how the game works.Better framerate, no slowdown, no need to install, and overall, well, another great game "Devil May Cry" style, but even with more options, weapons and magic. For the price zavvi is selling it, this game is a must buy :)

Great game
Bayonetta is an over the top all out fun in an old school hard sort of way extravaganza. The graphics are beautiful, the score is wonderful, though you will likely grow tired of the main combat theme over multiple playthroughs. Incredible replayability and more unlockables than any game I have seen in years. Definitely worth the price of admission to get this great game.

The most fun I had with a game in months! Bayonetta was a real joy to play from start to finish. The graphics are excellent, fight scenes great and Bayonetta herself was the sexiest character I've ever played with. This game also offers a good selection of combos, beautifully designed enemies and fast pace that will keep you on your toes during the entire game.

Awesome
After playing and loving Devil May Cry 4, I wanted to explore the hack & slash genre more. Bayonetta did not disappoint! From the very start it feels EPIC... and has a wonderful 80's arcade game feel to it. The visuals are superb, and the progression through the levels is good. The story is progressed by regular cut-scenes but the overall story is pretty weak. Overall though I really recommend this game.

The Chosen One
There are thousands of words I could write about Bayonetta. Suffice to say this is one of the greatest action games I have ever played. The story is very Japanese (and thus a bit weird) and the game is very, very difficult (although there are easy modes if you want to use them). But whenever you enter a fight your heart starts to pump, your adrenaline starts flowing and every time you come out of a fight alive you feel great. This is a game which rewards playing well and not just button bashing. The fact this game scores a 9.0/10 after 60/70 review I suppose about now really should give a hint. Are you one of those people who still haven't bought the game? Then hurry up and press the buy now button!
