DarkStar One: Broken Alliance
In the beginning, I was very perplexed about this title, but since buying it, I haven't been disappointed. DarkStar One: Broken Alliance is very cool, and reminds me of the old Wing Commander or Tie Fighter games, but of a higher quality. In DarkStar One: Broken Alliance, you can dogfight other star-fighters, mine some asteroids, and sell the stuff to the star-base, and even do some smuggling... It's a very fun game to play! I love it, and highly recommend it.

Alright.
This game is good with large amounts of space to fight through and the best combat for a space game on the xbox. However it is let down by slightly below average graphics and poor voice acting.

A must buy! Great Price!
Darkstar One Broken Allience is perhaps one of the best free roaming space shooter/sim games I've played on any console format, (short of Colony Wars). It has crisp, easy on the eye HD visuals, pick up and play controls, nice sound and ambient effects and I must admit, addictive gameplay. Darkstar One has a light economy system you can explore, and huge reactive star systems to do it in. Smuggling or trading goods between systems to boost their wealth increases pirate attacks, and police presence. Bounty hunting reaps weapon rewards and ship upgrades, or just cash to spend on goods to trade or however you like. Or you can just shoot everything and decide what to do after! As well as with each star system, another visually impressive feature is that with each time you level up your ship, it's appearence 'morphs'. Wings extend and curve, engines get bigger and change shape and the amount of weapons you can bolt on can increase! I really like having a mixture of turret types with four nice laser cannons! I could go on, but needless to say, if you like sci-fi, rumbling engines of huge gunships, and the freedom of gameplay to enjoy it in, you really should get this!

This is a classic game that I was not expecting to be much good... and for that price you would be mental to pass it up. Really cool game, great story, addictive as hell. A+
