Final Fantasy XIII (Classics)

Final Fantasy XIII is a good game: fast and wild battles, excellent graphics, good players development, an interesting story, many weapons, accessories and objects to use, hours of fun. But here comes the problem: you have to compare it with the others Final Fantasy games, so with an element of comparison so good, you notice the multiple differences that make it a little less addictive and exciting like the limited exploration and the must-go-there-and-nowhere-else style or the hours of playing, and the sensation of a game that doesn't make you feel being in a world where you can get lost. Nevertheless, you can enjoy it very much - it is still a Final Fantasy!

Final Line

First of all, this is not a bad game at all, the combat system is very intuitive and dynamic. Not for players than want to decide what the character does in any moment. The Story is interesting, and the character are not bad, not reaching the level of development of others Final Fantasy. The development of the characters are similar as it was in Final Fantasy X. The big problem here is the fact that the entire game is like a corridor, you only can go in one way, there is no ship or plane to go to another place, you can only follow the corridor, and freedom is what makes Final Fantasys so special. I am enjoying it, but it would be better if the game would have more freedom of decision.

Good Game

This is a very good game. Not very complex, but has a very interesting and beautiful story, the graphics are amazing. 4 out of 5.

Stunning game from start to finish

Many people have criticized this game because of how linear it is, but the reason that it is linear makes it all the better as the first half of the game is focused on your party's relationship with each other and the story. Then when you get the third disk things turn up a notch as you enter the world of Gran Pulse, an epic open-world segment. All in all this game is fantastic and took me well into 50 hours to finish I would recommend to anyone even those who aren't fans of the final fantasy series as this game is a drastic department from the classic Final Fantasy games which I think is just as great, whilst still retaining the core ATB from previous Final Fantasy games, as well as the truly legendary storytelling Square Enix is known for
