Gears of War 3 is amazing! The pace is a lot faster than Gears of War 2. There are a lot more battles and a nice story to go with them. This is a must have game.

Awesome game.

Gears Of War 3 is the best one in the series. On the campaign you'll play the ending of the story, no cliff hangers. The multiplayer is as excellent as ever and better than GOW2. Excelent price for the game.

Gears of War 3

Gears of War 3 is still going strong in its 3rd title in the gears series that follows on from the destruction and mayhem of the previous games. It has a decent campaign and it's still one of the few you can play 4 player with 2 people on one console. Multiplayer is even better, with horde mode and the option to play against bots with your friends. Gears of War 2 is still my favourite, so I can't give it a 5, but it's really close!

great game - multiplayer not good enough

In multiplayer you cannot find people to join you once you change the difficulty level. It really ruins the experience, cause it is too easy. But Gears Of War 3 itself is really great. Unless you have a lot of friends for GOR3 - don't expect to play horde mode on higher difficulties.

Solid Metal Gears ... The support is back!

Cut to the ops: Gears of War 3 is simply incredible! This epic battle ballad is a must have for every single gamer on the box - or at least the ones who enjoyed the previous episodes! The graphics are improved, the scenes will sometimes kick down your jaws into the trench - the aging Unreal3 engine still knows the drill! The sound department still delivers us the gripping atmosphere of gunfight and bombing. All in all, this piece is assembled really tight. The new enemies and the blowing co-op mode will have a hold on you and your party for 10+ hours through difficulties and you won't even feel it tiring to cut through the foes, but entertaining. If you feel skilled enough, then you are into one of the best multiplayer experience of this generation including the waves of Horde and the opposing Beast modes! And not just coming waves, but engineering the obstacles and stationary guns as aid against the enemy! crazy stuff : ) I should highly recommend Gears of War 3 and the whole trilogy to every gamer!

Great game

Finally I have it on my hands. Amazing game and amazing story. I remove one star because it hasn't got a manual, only a link to see it on internet.

Very good price, relative fast delivery.

Great game, extraordinary graphics

This game really shows the capabilities of the 360’s graphics system. The gameplay is really good, the story nice, but it's mainly a shooter, so the story not too important. Gears Of War 2 was also great, but here the developers really pushed the system to its limits. But there is no slowdown, even when he'll breaks loose with four players and tons of monsters in the screen. In the cut scenes however, there are some slowdown, but this really doesn't hurt the gameplay. The controls are very good, the player always has full control, this is really a good example of how a shooter needs to be implemented.

Gears Of War 3 is epic, and almost the best game ever made. Some minor things are a bit disappointing, as in the other two games, such as the thoughtfulness of the story. Otherwise, it's great, and really fun. All of the shooting and dodging is still as fun as ever, so everyone who loved the first and second parts, will love this one.

nothing new

A good buy. Great visuals, probably some of the best there is on the Xbox, and superb gameplay. It doesn't beat games such as Uncharted 3, but it is a really fun game. It is totally worth it at this great price!

Gears of war 3 is probably one of my favourite 3rd person shooter games of all time. It has so much to offer in terms of graphics and game play. It's all so different to anything that's been done before! The campaign can speak for itself! It's totally mind-boggling whilst being packed full of fun and adventure. The online play is very challenging - there are a lot of good players out there. I also like Horde mode, in which, there's endless waves of creatures trying to kill you, approaching from all directions. Just holding your ground isn't enough in any way on Gears of War 3. It's all about fighting back with everything you've got! It's a great game in so many ways, and I highly recommend that you buy it.

This game is absolutely dynamite. and yes I did play the two before of it. If you want action, if you want blood, if you want to know a good history this is the game for you. I highly recommend.

Gears of War 3

Gears of War 3 may just be the best 3rd person shooter of this generation. It takes everything that players loved from the previous Gears Of War games, and makes it even better. The online multi-player is improved, the story co-op play (up to 4 players) has been made more enjoyable, and the Horde mode has been tweaked and fiddled with to make it all the more frantic. The new additions to the game, including "Beast Mode", new weapons, and many bug fixes from Gears of War 2, are all accommodated really well. The story continues with the Hollywood-like style of previous Gears of War games. It's a must-buy for Xbox 360 owners.

The end is only the beginning

Till Gears Of War 3 arrived to the market, I was not very pleased with first and third person shooters. Gears of War 3 not only showed me that the new generation (360, PS3) was bringing sophisticated graphics but also new aspects of the game, like covers. A superb continuation to Gears Of War 2 that offers more in every aspect. Gears Of War 3 is just as revolutionary as its predecessor was, and it closes an interesting story. Everyone who enjoyed the previous games will find here more or less the same action, which is all that we asked for when Gears Of War 2 ended.

Best exclusive in 2011!

Honestly one of the most complete games I've ever played. The campaign is awesome, the multiplayer is finally worth playing as dedicated servers wipe out all the lag, and the sheer number of co-operative and competitive modes will keep me busy for a long time.

I'm not a huge Gears fan but this game really gripped me and I enjoyed the whole experience of the game. It even made me buy the first one so I can play the whole trilogy all the way through.

I have been a keen follower of Gears Of War since it's creation, and can happily say this this by far the best one both in storyline and in the gameplay quality.

Excellent end to the trilogy

Gears of War 3 is a brilliant cover based shooter that finishes off the trilogy with a bang! Females are now playable in game. And the Lambent make for an interesting challenge. Good multi-player too. Check it out

Gears Of War 3 is a really Awesome game, If you are a fan of the trilogy You must buy it. This game has awesome game play, Fantastic On-line Multi player and an incredible Campaign That supports split-screen Co-op and On-line Co-op! A must buy.

Though Gears Of War 3 is an undeniably intense shooter, it scales very well to accommodate a range of skill levels. This is just one facet of the pervasive attention to detail that suffuses the whole game and gives you the sense that you are experiencing the pinnacle of the series. From the taut Versus competition to the two great cooperative modes, Gears of War 3 delivers immensely entertaining experiences on both sides of The Locust War. But the real triumph is the campaign, a masterpiece of exciting gameplay and emotional storytelling that stands head and shoulders above its predecessors. Even if you don't remember where you were on Emergence Day, this is one adventure you won't soon forget.

Gears of War 2.5

Gears of War 3 is not a bad game, but it hasn't moved on much from the second game. The story-line in campaign mode is much like the other games, walking in a laid out line until you see the bad guys and shoot them. What does make gears of war 3 better than the second game, is that the online multiplayer, horde and beast modes are fun and easy to play. You also play as the Cole Train in campaign mode, which is really fun. Therefore although the game hasn't changed much, it is still a good game and I would give it 4 stars.

One of the Best

Gears of War together with Halo, is justifiably the most renowned exclusive game for the Xbox 360, and the third chapter of this magnificent saga does not fall short. The campaign is far from short, and the multiplayer adds literally countless hours of extra game-play where the game truly excels. The multiplayer has two main options - VS in which you play head on against other real players, King of the Hill, Capture the leader and Horde/Beast. All multiplayer game modes are extremely enjoyable. All in all this one of the best games I've played on the Xbox 360, and it is recommended to everyone who enjoys good thrilling action with a strong multiplayer experience.

Gears of War has always been one of my favourite games and this is by far the best of the three yet. With the exiting new beast mode you can play as the enemy you fight throughout the campaign. The new Horde mode allows you to build up defences and the more you build the better defences can get. The game also has more unlockables and allows you to level up, the more you play the better the game gets. A must buy for any game player.
