Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City contains two brand new complete games – "The Ballad of Gay Tony" & "The Lost and Damned" – together in one box.
The Ballad of Gay Tony:
The Ballad of Gay Tony injects Liberty City with an overdose of guns, glitz, and grime. As Luis Lopez, part-time hoodlum and full-time assistant to legendary nightclub impresario Tony Prince (aka "Gay Tony"), players will struggle with the competing loyalties of family and friends, and with the uncertainty about who is real and who is fake in a world in which everyone has a price.
The Lost & Damned:
In The Lost and Damned, experience Liberty City as Johnny, a veteran member of The Lost, a notorious biker gang. Johnny has been creating business opportunities for The Lost in Liberty City but his first loyalty must be to the patch he wears on his back and to Billy Grey, the club’s President. However, when Billy returns from rehab hell-bent on bloodshed and debauchery, Johnny finds himself in the middle of a vicious turf war with rival gangs for control of a city torn apart by violence and corruption. Can the brotherhood survive?

Definitely a quality game. If you like playing campaign on most games then the story lines are pretty cool to play along with. I recommend it for any real gamer.
Grand Theft Auto IV: Episodes From Liberty City was a great buy, the two seperate storylines to the game are great to anyone who loves either the GTA franchise or just single-player games in general. If however you are a fan of the choas filled multiplayer that was with GTA IV this game is definitely worth the money, this disk allows you to play the same multiplayer as GTA IV but with much more guns and cars. I recommend this game to any type of gamer.
The Ballad of Gay Tony offers glitzy glamour, money, night clubs, hilarious dialogue and posh cars. The Lost and the Damned has you riding bikes, listening to metal music and exacting pure violence. This extension of GTA4 is so good (and so long in duration when you combine the two stories) that this could easily be a stand alone game. If that wasn't good enough this DLC also gives you and array of new weapons, cars and aircraft that add a great new dimension to the already familiar Liberty City. I am keeping this short and sweet. This is a great game and great value to match. I highly recommend to anyone who is considering purchasing this!
Grand Theft Auto IV: Episodes From Liberty City is a good addition to the GTA franchise.
Very good graphics, huge roaming opportunity, and great gameplay!
Grand Theft Auto IV: Episodes From Liberty City is a good addition to the main game and also ties in with it. It has the added advantage of when on a mission, you don't go right to the beginning but continue from where you died on the mission. Great game! Well worth it.
First copy of this game got burnt by a friend. when I got it back and found out I just HAD to get another one. What hasn't this game got; plot, storyline, action, deep characters, excellent graphics, lengthy game play. Its an all round game that's got something for everyone. Excellent.
I always enjoy playing Grand Theft Auto, and Liberty City is one of my favourites. Strongly recommended.
GTA delivers yet again. Great premise for a video game, good fun, a lot of laughs as well! Well executed, great graphics, and the usual fantastic game play.
Brilliant game, I loved it. Story line split up into two halves, which means that when you've completed one story you've still got one whole other story to go! Great fun, not for the younger kids obviously (what did you expect, its grand theft auto?) but a genuinely brilliant game that any young adult should own!
The long wait finally ended, GTA IV Episodes from Liberty City finally got here, and it definitely doesn't dissappoint. This game is technically more like two games given that the story line is split up into two different branches both of which feel like full games, which means double the fun, obviously. Solves all of the problems in the earlier games and then some! Enjoy!
well worth the money, you get plenty of bang for your buck, in my opinion its as good as the main gta 4 game. buy now and get on the highly addictive, fun filled, exspolsive fueled, comedy train (of the past 4 years dare i say) i call gta episodes from liberty city.
Don't get me wrong. GRAND THEFT AUTO IV is a great game, but the lack of checkpoints and the wonky driving mechanics slow the pace and make missions tedious to retry (eg. Do I really need to steal another car and spend 5-7 minutes driving across the city again just to retry a mission? Argh!) That being said, my grievances with GTA IV were all fixed in EPISODES FROM LIBERTY CITY. The driving mechanics, especially the motorcycles, have been smoothed out. Driving in the game has now actually become fun, and it is now easier to handle a motorcycle than a car. Also, when you get killed on a mission, the game will take you back to the start of the action. These two changes alone radically change the gaming experience and make EPISODES one of the most fun video games I've ever played. I literally didn't want it to end. The stories are compelling and fast-paced. If you've played through GTA IV, you'll notice and appreciate some intersections with that story, but by and large these are standalone story lines. And the characters are quite a lot more fun than the rather dour Niko Bellic of GTA IV. I won't give away any more than that. The main point I'd like to drive home is that if you haven't played GTA IV, I strongly recommend skipping to this game, Episodes from Liberty City. If you have played GTA IV and are on the fence about getting Episodes, don't even think twice. Make this your next game. You won't regret it. FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY
The first addition is very exciting, especially for those who like to drive bikes and visit the disassembly of warring gangs. But apart from these two features of the game has other advantages: an unpredictable plot, great graphics, lots of new non-GTA IV, things such as: new weapons, new cars, bikes, mini-games. I am personally very pleased with the game, though I can not say that keen biker theme. So it should come in addition to many souls. The second addition - "The Ballad of Gay Tony" - a sharp contrast to "The Lost and Damned". Here you can enjoy the pleasures of club life and secular parties. But that's not all. As in the first supplement you have to eliminate enemies in order to survive in this, at first glance, the "heavenly place." The game also has a fascinating and unpredictable plot, lots of innovations, and, of course, great graphics. The episode I was pleased to not less than the first
It would be unthinkable to play GTA IV and leave out these two action-packed episode and adventure. The "world" of GTA IV remains, and all locations the same and the controls. "Fun" is the watchword, and the secondary challenges such as races or "dirty work" perfectly complement both the L & D and BGT. I urge you to buy, because while the GTA V does not come is a great way to wait.
To think that software companies often consider the DLC as mere embellishments for their products, or the number of cases, as mere accessories to further squeeze the wallets of users, makes these episodes very worthy of praise and purchase. Now that PS3 owners can enjoy this quality, it would be unwise to pass up such a wonderful opportunity. Both episodes are enjoyable and fun, and considering the longevity they offer, it is really hard to resist them. The retail version we tested did not allow anyone wants to give up a box and instructions (or have little disk space) to enjoy these spectacular adventures in the world of crime, even without owning the original GTA IV. If your homes stands a PS3 and have always hoped that one day quell'esclusiva end, now you do not have to do is arrange your copy, and finally make the acquaintance of Johnny and Luis. Unlikely to be disappointed.
TBOGT -------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Here it tells about Tony Prince, who runs two Moadnim in LC and found himself in deep trouble, and here we come - as Luis Lopez, which excludes him from any possible trouble. If you like, [No, I'm not going to say it is no dream .... ] You can read this expansion - TCOSA. What does it mean? - The Comeback of San Andreas. Why you ask? The answer is simple - Main features returned from SA to IV by this expansion. For example, the APC, parachute, dances and clubs, Nitro [B-MP], Inferred serious attacks [The Buzzard equipped with missiles and guns together!] And so on, and so on. Well, the plot. Truth, with a few that I prefer the TBOGT on TLAD, there is still one area where TBOGT losing the battle head to head and Aizhua domain? - The plot of course. The plot here is just that: Tony: Lewis, Fucked hard, and this time for real!! Lewis: Calm down, I'll handle it ... And so it goes ... But thank God, the only drawback I found in significant detail. The rest - just wonderful. Task - Proper full action, like a railroad car hijacking, kidnapping of the APC, and leverage explosion .. Therefore, and accordingly - this extension is worth every penny. Also, there are other open buildings - it is blessed. Of course, the clubs also add that extra touch to the game, with dancing, club management, drinking champagne and other vegetables. Then there's the golf that he is very nice. Weapons - Bonbonirot one by one. Grenade launcher is upgraded, the machine gun is a monster, despite its sound sounds a little weak and not related, Shotguns pull with explosive bullets - great, the gun - a nice, golden Uzi - unnecessary but it would be. The silenced P90 Good, stick bombs - Ankkkkkkkk!. Hkitzktz, many weapons, a lot of quality. Vehicles, of course, are extra rounds. The Super Diamond luxurious and very beautiful, especially as his performance was not bad. Vehicles finally did not squeak on every turn poor. I personally fell in love with this car. Swift - Beautiful Helicopter, a dolphin. Boats - needless murder. Even so every boat except what-Tug Boat-Dinghy and look the same ... Another thing annoys me and that includes the radio stations TLAD it. Why would they change instead of adding? Where the The Journey, Massive B, The Vibe, Tuff Gong? Why who needs Weiss City FM? In addition, the vast majority of the songs from IV does not include any extensions. All radio stations have a music party. Why only reasons? Is not that answer the issue of enlargement, but it is annoying. For example - radio broker. B-IV was my favorite radio even though there were no great songs, And in EFLC I do not even bother to move him. Radio Broker destroyed. Vladivostok stayed nice but still, I miss the original songs. By the way, The Beat and Electro Choc upgraded and now are more attractive. I always kept flicking extensions that do not taste so my songs. In summary, the stations - heartburn. This expansion pack is not it? She should expand rather than worse! And back on track ..... Mulatto. Actually, it's disappointing, this mulatto is not nothing but a re-shuffling. There is no novelty, but on the contrary - both here took place insert. Conclusion - Multi not much. But if you're into Freemode or race, then go on TBOGT yet ... because of a variety of additions which, if not - then go on TLAD. In conclusion - I enjoyed very much from TBOGT. Very good extension, crazy tasks, add-ons that really add layers to the game, but multi neglected to take out a little. Final Score: 90
Well, first of all start with TLAD - TLAD, on his way, very unique. The focus of this DLC known as Motorcycle Club - Lost. Course lost over time, with no logic, but the plot, especially in TLAD, a great sense, and that counts and this expansion of sugar. It all begins when Billy Gray, leader of the gang returns Hshbokiih entertainment in Rehab, and we Nglm Johnny Klvic, Jewish deputy. Henceforth I will not dwell on the plot, but what it is, Such ongoing storyline, with logic. The plot here, compared to IV, developed much better, therefore, the plot is a good thing here. But ironically - that the only thing that really impressed him at length. Weapons - nice, but too little. The Pipe Bomb is just "Hakooiak" Regular grenade, not one has an advantage in something about that and blah blah blah, but still, unnecessary. No special indeed. The new gun - great, offensive hunting rifle - also wonderful. And the same thing about the grenade launcher. Pool Stick - more terrible. If there were add puncher, will be unique something, but not ... Vehicles - also nice. Oops, I meant motorcycles, vehicles extensively for extremely ugly, but that's just waiting in the corner. Motorcycles, so kind. Jet the Crotch Rocket, great. Very good they were added. T-double was an alien but deadly, Hbati beautiful etc ... But all the Choppers motorcycles, are almost the same. [But the great motorcycle Innovation.] Playfulness. All part of the relationship with gang members is a welcome addition. Same thing on the new James sex - download hands requires a lot of effort and so is fun, High card game - a very nice low, air hockey in my opinion - one level above the rest. I plowed through it many times. Really fun. There is also the Hfitz'r of riding together and all that goes with it - which is cool. Incidentally, a word about multi Although I got to play it yet [wonder why], multi excellent. Line game modes - very nice op and original. Short review I know, but just did not fall off my chair when I played in TLAD, but the total is nice. Worth playing him mostly because of mulatto and perhaps a plot. Final Score: 70
Grand Theft Auto IV: Episodes From Liberty City has lost none of it's magic. In fact, it's better than the original! The missions are great and once you've done a couple, you're lost in the game and you don't want to get out. The free roam mode has been made a lot better with a couple of additions. The possibilities of what you can do is endless! Overall it's a brilliant game worth buying!
it is the best gta eva made in gods world alltogether there are 43 missions but free mode is the best
It happens rarely, but The Ballad Of Gay Tony is even better that the original GTA IV. The DLC is perfect. Really funny, very interesting and with great attention to details (like the music in the clubs). I'm not into bikes, but the first DLC is really good as well. Both have noticeably improvements, some new features etc. so this disk is more like some fresh air rather than an addition to the story we all love, but got tired of after finishing long GTA IV. I would recommend playing both DLCs after the original games since there will be situation you are familiar with if you remember GTA IV well.
This game has more new content than most full priced games. The episodes are just fun to play. You really get the feeling that Liberty City is a city of a 1000000 stories. There are also some great references to GTA IV. If you enjoyed GTA IV you should play this. The great feeling of the bond between GTA IV and these episodes is one no GTA fan should miss out on. Worth every cent.
I was so pleased to see that this game continues Rockstar's long run of success with the GTA franchise. Although the grahpics are superb and the cities are more detailed than ever, I did feel that the actual 'story' of the game wasn't quite as polished as the previous games. Having said that, it's still one of the best games around, and even if you've not played any of the other GTA games it's definately a game that's worth getting.
