Two years after Commander Shepard repelled invading Reapers bent on the destruction of organic life, a mysterious new enemy has emerged. On the fringes of known space, something is silently abducting entire human colonies. Now Shepard must work with Cerberus, a ruthless organisation devoted to human survival at any cost, to stop the most terrifying threat mankind has ever faced. To even attempt this perilous mission, Shepard must assemble the galaxy's most elite team and command the most powerful ship ever built. Even then, they say it would be suicide. Mankind's Future is At Stake
Commander Shephard continues his/her second episode of what will become a fantastic trilogy. Bioware provides us with a futuristic environment and the continuation of where "mass effect" left off with this science fiction action-RPG. This time there's simple no time to waste and you are brought back to action where the right decisions are crucial for your survival. This bit is taken quite literally and more improved compared to the previous game. Your decisions will guarantee your character (which can be imported from mass effect 1) to live or die during the trilogy. How Bioware will integrate this for the third part, is yet a question, though the integration of your choices and its results in this sequel are stunning and change your complete game experience. No company ever has created a trilogy that is as coherent and stunning as this one! This game does not only leaves us with a beautiful +30 hours storyline that keeps you addicted from beginning till end, but offers a great replay value as well! Combined with more weapons and lots of improvements from a significant better weaponry set and upgrade system to better loading times, it shows us that Bioware has listened well to the feedback of the fans and worked hard on improvement of what was already a top game! Mass Effect 2 comes with 2 discs (no pain for switching during gameplay) and is well worth its money. If you love a good story combined with (inter)action, it's a must have and you should ask yourself why you haven't bought it yet! Story, action, involvement and an addictive playtrough are about to be experienced… The choice starts here…

For me, The game of the year! An unbelievable story of science fiction, with the biggest background I ever found in video game. After the very good Mass Effect 1, this number 2 is as good as it, or better! If you love science fiction and RPG, you must try it!

2010 starts with a Cracker !
I loved....... correction love the 1st game and waited like an expectent father for this to come out. I wasnt disapointed and its a definate improvement on the original game. There are more weapons to choose from, they are easier to operate, plus there is an option to upgrade weapons armour and scanners. The audio, scenery and general ambiance are much better and all blend seamlessly into the new and excellent story. A sublime game and all consuming, your going to love this !
