Go weapons-hot in a fully immersive sci-fi epic that reacts to every decision you make.
Not everyone will survive. An ancient alien race, known only as "Reapers", has launched an all-out invasion leaving nothing but a trail of destruction in their wake. Earth has been taken, the galaxy is on the verge of total annihilation, and you are the only one who can stop them. The price of failure is extinction. You are Commander Shepard, a character that you can forge in your own image. You determine how events will play out, which planets to explore, and whom to form alliances with as you rally a force to eliminate the Reaper threat once and for all. How you wage this war is completely up to you: go into combat with guns blazing or use cover to plan a more tactical assault. Utilize your squad to full effect or take a lone wolf approach. Rain death from a distance or go toe–to-toe with enemies using devastating melee attacks. Mass Effect 3 will react to each decision you make as you play through a truly unique experience of your own creation.

This game is more like 4.5 stars, but considering I finished it and all 4 DLCs in just 4 days (and I usually play 5 hours per month) - that has something to do with the game being really good. First of all, I never played Mass Effect - my journey started from Mass Effect 2. Mass Effect 3 allowed to load my character and that made impact on the story (which is really cool). This game has quite some improvements if compared to the previous one - the biggest is that you don't need to mine the planets anymore. You can, but this is purely for side mission purposes and if you're into achievements. Secondly - less talking with your squad when being on Normandy. It might sound a bit odd that this is a good thing for RPG, but considering how many talking there is (during missions etc.) there is no point in visiting every squad member after each mission now. Drawbacks are really minor - a bit repetitive missions from time to time (but this game is 20 hours long, so this is okay). I've been working on 3D games for 8 years, so seeing flat ground with no normal maps in the last mission was a bit 2005. But all-in-all - the game is really good.
I start by saying I really loved the first Mass Effect. As a hard sci-fi fan, it was all I always wanted in a game, even with the imperfections: the story was what mattered. In Mass Effect 2 there was a fragile balance between the story and all the other elements, as the action game play. This balance, to me, is broken in Mass Effect 3. I enjoyed it, but I would have kept the original writer and would not have tried to appeal to a wide audience.
The Mass Effect trilogy was brought to a terrific end by the superb campaign of Mass Effect 3. The way in which it is an interactive campaign is brilliant, and every action has a consequence. I would highly recommend this game to anyone. I haven't had a chance to play the online multi-player yet so I can't comment on that.
For the third time this story gives us a great game. After playing Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 this one brings an amazing end for the trilogy. The decisions taken on the other two games have consequences on the third. Good opportunity to start again and take other decision to see new endings. Great game, great story and great graphics. What else could anyone ask?
Since Mass Effect 1 I got used to the epic background this series has. Mass Effect 3 feels so much more epic. Now you're not just a beginner but an expert. Gameplay is practically just like Mass Effect 2 but with one difference - that you don't have to scan planets anymore. One click and you know either there's something or not. It improves on Mass Effect 2 and to see how the relationships have developed with all the old characters from Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 is really wonderful.
Mass Effect 3 is a great interactive story and video game experience. It features solid multiplayer to help with the single player campaign and keep the experience going. If you've enjoyed any Bioware games in the past or are looking for a great looking game that has everything you could possibly want, then I advise you buy this game from this site.
Mass Effect 3 is a Good Game. Graphics are beautiful. The Gameplay mechanics are Action driven. The dialogues System Lacks a Little Bit the stunning depths of its predecessors. Many Characters From me 1 And 2 reappear in the campaign. Demolish the immersion of the Whole Series, Because it forces You to make choices your character would probably Never Choose. But from a more objective point of view, it is well put together, without Many Bugs And Good mechanics.
A must have for RPG fans who enjoy a gripping story combined with thrilling gameplay. All the characters have depth and the voice acting is very good. The way you decide to play and the decisions you make in-game means that you can play this game over and over and have a different experience each time! I was glued to my television from start to end and fully intend on completing the game again. The graphics are stunning, with many different planets and cities to explore in the galaxy. Gameplay can become repetitive, however the story keeps you wanting more. Would definitely recommend.
You can only describe this game with the following word: Masterpiece. We are at the end of the best trilogy in the history of video games. A work that gets us from beginning to end and make us remember the Mass Effect universe forever. After tens of hours played, adding those in Mass Effect 1 and 2, we are faced with this then where to import the character of the previous games, finally maintains the level of the previous game, like decisions. Back to see the characters from the previous game, and see that all the actions you took, have their relevance in this third part, it gives you food for thought. There is a graphical improvement to the previous two, but in my opinion, one of the best things is the load times - minimal in this third part. Respect to history, the story line perfectly still left in the second part... leading to an end (final extended) that will please many and annoy many. After seeing the other end (no spoilers) especially 2 extended left there with good taste in what to expect. The game also has an acceptably longer, 30 hours worth of story mode, but it goes pretty fast. The soundtrack is the best of the three games. Epic at times. Another important finding is the addition of multiplayer. Without a doubt, Mass Effect 3 is a game that must be present in the collection of anyone.
Based on the formula of success that made this series so popular, Mass Effect 3 polishes and refines the aspects of the original game play that make it enjoyable. A fascinating storyline and a vast universe to explore the replay value of this game is high. Overall a recommended game for any sci-fi action-role playing fan.
If you know the characters and the universe of Mass Effect 3 (i.e. you have played Mass Effect 1 and 2) the majority of this game is fantastic - doing a great job of bringing together all the characters you know and love (or hate), for one final and very special outing. Unfortunately the ending is so spectacularly poor, that it ruins the magic built up over the game and removes any desire to replay the game. For those that are new to the franchise, Mass Effect 3 is probably just average anyway. The story of Mass Effect 3 as a stand-alone entity is not particularly good, and the combat portions of the game are fairly short and not to the standard of dedicated shooter titles. All in all, the game ends up being the worst of both worlds. Those that really care about the story and are looking forward to a conclusion to the three-part saga will end up being more disappointed and frustrated than they could have imagined. Those that aren't interested in the story will not be amazed by the other elements of the game. My advice to both would be don't bother, or at least wait until it can be snagged for next to nothing.
As expected, Bioware is astonishing with another Mass Effect. After the second part wins the best game in 2010. They decide to create a third part, fans anticipated this part to know how the story will change. The most amazing feature in all Mass Effect games is importing your character from the previous part, so you feel continuing the story yourself. Kinect integration made the game more real as you give the order and control the story with your voice. which gives you the feeling that you are inside the story not just playing the game. As Mass Effect known for decent playtime that is not less than 20 hours. Really, really I love the game, thanks EA for the story and game.
Mass effect 3 has all the good things from part 1 and 2, plus more. I think that thay have improved the controls nicely for this game, and provived you with much more fun weapons. The way you upgrade weapons is also more intresting. The music is fantastic, and so are the graphics. Overall, a great game!
The game arrived in good condition, and is amazing. Simply one of the best campaigns I have ever seen (and one of the longest with 30 hours + campaign at least) , the graphics are good, and the online is rather fun. I really enjoyed this game, even though I just started on the last Mass Effect; I would advise that you buy the first two games first though, as it just helps to know the characters and history of the Mass Effect Universe and would add to the understanding and enjoyment of the latest campaign.
Mass Effect 3 is a pearl of the videogame landscape, the worthy end of an epic saga, the technical department is superb, the combat system has been further improved and the plot reaches levels of pure epicness. However some questionable choice in gameplay, such as the disappearance of mini-games' s intermission, a slightly lower longevity of the main campaign, multiplayer a little variety and too many bugs do not allow the attainment of perfection.
While there have been pages and pages written about the ending of Mass Effect 3, all I'll say on the subject is that I was disappointed. End of. As for the first 99% of the game.. it's a rollercoaster ride of emotions, excitement and thrills. You'll definitely get more appreciation out of the game if you've invested your time in playing the first 2 games in the series, where some of your previous decisions depict how parts of the 3rd game play out. I loved it, and I also (surprisingly for me) really enjoy the multiplayer which is fast paced and fun. Initially there were issues with trying to connect to EA's servers but that seems to have been ironed out now. And they have released a map pack or 2 for free since. The game is excellent value for money, especially at Zavvi's price.
Put off by all the complaints about the ending of this game? Never fear it is still an excellent title and you may actually respect the developers decision to put the story ahead of a neat ending. The graphics and quality put into this game are astounding. It is cinematic in feel and includes a range of guest whos who of Sci Fi. The actual gameplay is streamlined and a great mix of what made the first two games great. If you own an xbox you owe it to yourself the play this game.
Mass Effect 3, the last chapter of this fantastic trilogy, couldn't be better: deep storyline with dramatic moments that continues with the choices you made in the previous games. More shooter than RPG, very cinematic gunfights, but not tactial at all. Secondary missions are fun but pretty much all the same. I enjoyed it but I still prefer the first one.
Playtime: 33 hours (all side quests included) Graphic: 9 Sound: 8 Gameplay: 9 Multiplayer: 6 Multiplayer: Its fun to play, but after some rounds its just the same over and over again. There not so many decisions in the story, which matters. Very poor ending, you can choose one of three endings.
