Max Payne 3: Bundle (Includes City Of God on Blu-ray)

I have been a fan of Max Payne since the beginning and I didn't have to disappointed this time, although I was a bit skeptical when Rockstar made the entire game itself. In the beginning I was a bit disappointed, the game didn't have the same vibe as the first two. But when I continued the playing, I liked it more and more after each episode. Graphics and bullet time is just excellent, brilliant job Rockstar. This is a must buy for everyone who's likes these kind of games. This bundle is a insanely good bargain! Bullet pen was the main reason why I decided to make my pre-order from Zavvi, excellent piece for my collection.

Max Payne 3: Bundle (Includes City Of God on Blu-ray)

I've finished the campaign and I have to say it's brilliant, very gripping. Max has a very dark story, but you can still expect great dry humor and witty comebacks from him. There will be a lot of surprises and shocks as you go through the story. James McCaffrey does a fantastic job voicing Max Payne, and the other cast do a brilliant job too. The visuals are beautiful, my personal favorite being the Favela. It's gorgeous and very well created. Character models are highly detailed and the physics of enemies dying never gets old. Each kill is unique depending on the weapon(s) you use and the distance you're shooting from. They've kept it more realistic in terms of what you can carry in this third game. Max can carry two side arms (SMGs, revolvers, pistols) and one two handed gun (shotguns, rifles, LMGs). In the previous games you could carry as many guns as you wanted to. Though no baseball bats, crowbars, molotov cocktails, planks of wood and what not this time round. Which is a shame as you could in the first two. Going into Bullet Time is pure fun and I wish I had unlimited! It's great to watch too. All the details. The flash at the muzzle, the bullet/shell cases slowly flying out the side of your gun(s) and so on. Last Kill cam is a great feature. You can slow it down and you don't have to let go of the trigger until they hit the floor, or if you run out of ammo you can hear a 'click' sound. Everyone would agree that this is a very violent game. You see blood squirt out each time a bullet/shell goes into an enemy. Not many games have holes in the body when you shoot someone, but Max Payne 3 does. It's especially gory when you use Last Kill cam! Last and certainly not least I give a big cheer for Health, the band who did the official soundtrack. It's nothing short of amazing! Every track fits perfectly with the game. This is a superb third person shooter with a long campaign worthy of the price tag. One of the best you will see this year and of recent years. It has a very strong chance at Game Of The Year. This will probably be my top single player campaign of 2012. A big thank you to Zavvi as this bundle includes 'City of God' on Blu-Ray and the exclusive Max Payne 3 Bullet Pen. I love collecting Blu-Rays and this was a great bonus as it's worth £12. The pen is a great touch too! So this is probably one of the best bundles you could want. Max Payne 3, a free Blu-Ray and free bullet pen, all at £38!
